Sony Unveils the PlayStation Plus Free Games for September 2019
Is everyone ready to go back to school yet? 🏫 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓 Next month is just a few days away, and to kick things off Sony just unveiled the PlayStation Plus free games for subscribers during September 2019.

Featured next month are Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders III, where you can become one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse or the caped crusader himself in next month's lineup! 🦇

Check out the PS Plus September 2019 preview trailer video below alongside a brief summary of each courtesy of Sony Content Producer Matthew Groizard to quote:

Batman: Arkham Knight

Descend into the besieged streets of Arkham City as DC’s most-iconic crime-fighting crusader in Rocksteady’s neo-noir action adventure and explosive finale to the Arkham series.

Pull on the legendary black cowl and explore the vast neon metropolis, grappling up walls and vaulting across rooftops, gliding between buildings, or tearing through the streets in the super-powered Batmobile.

Go up against some of the caped crusader’s most iconic enemies, including Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc and more, using brutal hand-to-hand combat and an array of gadgets to liberate the over-run city once and for all.

Darksiders III

A visceral hack-and-slash action adventure, Darksiders III places you in a dark fantasy world filled with diverse environments, dangerous foes, hidden secrets, and weapons and abilities to unlock.

Take on the role of Fury, the most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horseman, as she returns to the scorched Earth to hunt down and destroy the Seven Deadly Sins. Track down each of the Seven Deadly Sins, slay their minions, and restore the balance between good and evil on Earth.

PS3 System Software 4.85 Update Live, Don't Update Your Firmware!
Just a day after the 3.72 PS Vita Firmware update and following their previous revision, today Sony pushed live a new PS3 Firmware / System Software 4.85 Update and although their PlayStation Site hasn't been updated with it yet chances are the changelog includes more of the usual 'improves the quality of the system performance' security fixes.

:alert: Needless to say, it's NEVER a wise idea to update PlayStation Firmware in order to make use of such things as PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW), downgrading, homebrew, Webkit exploits, etc.

Download: PS3 Firmware 4.85 (EU) Update / PS3 Firmware 4.85 (US) Update / PS3 Firmware 4.85 (AU/NZ) Update / PS3 Firmware 4.85 (JP) Update / dev_flash-485.zip (165.2 MB - Extracted Hashes) via VTSTech

As always, if anyone tests out PS3 version spoofers for PSN online access and to help avoid bans let us know if they're working or give THIS tutorial a try... although historically PSN works for a brief period (a week or so) after each PS3 Firmware update goes live so we'll update this article as PlayStation 3 scene devs...
Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection Dashes to PS4 in January
Since the Mega Man 11 PS4 launch, Capcom recently announced a six-game Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection that brings the action of all four Mega Man Zero games and both Mega Man ZX games to PlayStation 4 on January 21, 2020. :)

Below are both the Mega Man Zero/ZX: Legacy Collection official announcement and DLC trailer videos with pre-order details from Capcom Social Media & Community Associate Manager Kellen Haney, to quote:

Way Beyond 21XX

If you’re familiar with Mega Man X, then you’re familiar with his mentor and long-time partner, Zero. Fully playable for the first time in Mega Man X4 on the PlayStation, Zero added a new angle to the classic gameplay formula of Mega Man with his close-range Z-Saber and ability to copy enemy techniques, as opposed to X’s ability to copy their unique weapon systems – a key difference in how each character played. Even after numerous adventures, Zero’s story didn’t end with the events of the Mega Man X games.

If you’re a fan of Zero or the Mega Man X games in general, you’ll want to see where Zero’s story picks up hundreds of years later, beginning with the aptly titled Mega Man Zero. Setting the stage for the revival of the legendary Reploid, join Zero, human scientist Ciel, and Resistance forces in their fight for a better future.

As the events of each Mega Man Zero game unfold, you’ll learn more about the fate of old friends, such as X, and gain powerful new allies. However, along the way you’ll also cross paths with terrifyingly destructive foes like the fearsome Omega and the twisted Dark Elf.

The Resurrection of a Legend

Series fans know Zero isn’t defenseless, of course. Even hundreds of years later, Zero is still an A-Class Hunter and knows how to fight. You’ll need to bring your A-Class skills if you want to survive what’s ahead of you! While ranking was mostly for personal pride in prior Mega Man X games, Mega Man Zero introduced a new ranking system that graded you on how well you played.

When you maintain an A or S rank, bosses will give it everything they’ve got and unleash powerful “EX” moves – which, depending on the game, Zero can copy once he’s defeated his foe! Unlike other Mega Man games, defeating a...
PS Vita System Software / Firmware 3.72 Update Patches Bitter Smile!
Proceeding both yesterday's H-Encore2 PS Vita Kernel Exploit and their previous revision, today Sony pushed live a PlayStation Vita System Software / Firmware 3.72 update which patches doesn't patch the Bitter Smile PKG adding it to the revoke list blocking the game and blacklisting the userland exploit and didn't blacklist the h-encore² on FW 3.72 after all. o_O

:alert: Needless to say, it's advisable NOT to update as most PlayStation Vita sceners got a PS Vita or PlayStation TV to do fun stuff like jailbreaking, running exploits and homebrew on the handheld console. :cautious:
