Questions about PS4 save editing

I have not been in this scene in a long time. Since the PSP days. But recently I found out that a save editor was created and I found out by seeing it in action unfortunately. I am one of the top 3 ranked players in MGSV so I pay close attention to what's happening.

So one day I noticed a few guys randomly get 700,000 new resources. That really sucked. There is only a few months left before the final grade/rank is awarded. I wasted far more of my life then I should have getting to the rank I am at and don't want to lose because of this bs.

So can someone state it simply what I need to do to keep up with these people? I am in the US and from what I read it seems I can't use the new save editor. I also read that I can't use it if I have firmware 4.50. Also that there is a newer save editor being released soon. Can someone confirm these things for me? Can someone also tell me how they are avoiding being banned? What they are doing makes it obvious that they are going against the rules of PSN.

Thanks for any help with this. I have been out of the loop for years so someone answering these things for me and catching me up would be a big help.

Welcome to the forums @BigBossJC and I can feel your frustration over cheaters in games

Since the release, leaked source code and translated guide the PS4 Cyber Save Editor has been patched in PS4 Firmware 4.50 and you are correct it won't currently work with EU / US saves only those from the Asia region.

Since being patched from Sony a bypass was discovered, however, that still doesn't help get past the region restrictions unfortunately.

As for the other one coming out, the Xploder PS4 Cheats System was supposed to be released on April 8th but has been changed to "TBC" so no specific date now.

Also as mentioned in the Tweets HERE you won't be able to edit saves with the Xploder when it finally arrives, it will only resign game save data with other saves.

It wouldn't surprise me if rogue PS4 developers are making use of their TestKits with jailbroken 1.76 consoles and real-time mods to cheat online, although I doubt if they will ever admit to it.

As for how they aren't caught, either Sony hasn't began cracking down on RTE modding yet or maybe they're able to change their Console ID's, IP's and MAC addresses etc as we've already seen PS4 version spoofers and payloads that some with DevKits / TestKits / 1.76 consoles have made use of... eventually Sony will catch on if they haven't already as more people start doing it.

Thanks for the info, and for remembering me Unfortunately as of now it doesn't have the ability to edit Metal Gear Solid 5 saves yet and even if it did my broke ass can't afford the $50 lol. I will need to wait for a cracked version. I can't imagine it taking to long for that to happen.
