Download: Easy PKG Extractor 1.07 - Lapy.rar (50.4 MB - includes Easy PKG Extractor 1.07 - Lapy.pkg) / Mirror

Spoiler: Legacy Versions

And from the Tweets below, to quote: App for PS4 5.05 aimed at less experienced users.

Allows extract PKGs installed in the console to a USB device connected to it.

There are other ways to do this using FTP or PS4-Xplorer, but it is not as simple as with this app.
  • Automatically determines which port the USB device is connected to (usb0 or usb1).
  • It shows a progress bar to know the percentage of our copy.
  • Allows you to cancel the copy at any time.
Small project made for a Cuban friend, I only publish it because I love the interface.

@Lapy thanks. is there any chance that you could add support for the external HDD for those of us with small internal HDDs and large external ones? and add a delete button?

also, could the fact that my PS4 is a pro be a factor in the hangups somehow?

either way, awaiting your new version :)

@Lapy just tested the new version. the hangups still occur, and they occur even when my external HDD is disconnected so that cant be the reason. please investigate this when you can :(

something else i noticed is that, no matter how many games i move from the internal HDD to the external one or vice versa, the games counter in the app stays the same (136) even though that number isnt correct any more. maybe that has something to do with it?

and as always if you can add a delete button and the ability to read the external HDD that would be great too :)

stupid question, this app extract all files from pkg, because on screen i see only copying pkg, so this is pkg copier or extractor?

@u53r Maybe the name of the app causes you confusion ... but exactly what it does is that: it extracts an fpkg installed on the PS4 to a USB device ... It does not unpack the FPKG.

That is why when I published it I said that it was for less advanced users and that there were other ways to achieve this with an FTP or with my PS4-Xplorer.

@Lapy
Hi! I have a suggestion that would be very handy, it would be great if you include the possibility to play the game from external hdd.

the problem with apptousb is that you have to fill in the .ini file to choose which games to send externally, it discourages a lot of people.
