Recently @zecoxao shared via Twitter a screenshot (below) of the PlayStation 4 Manu Verification Disc (NPXS25000) diagnostic application used by Sony developers / testers, and today the corresponding PS4 DEX / FPKG / Files surfaced via @softstar (Twitter) for examination by those in the PS4 Scene.

So this program is to test the HDMI output of the console? It seems to have a "720x480" mode, which is not a normally accessible resolution on PS4.
