PS4 Error CE-36244-9 during PKG installation

In my case the error was caused by a corrupted pkg

maybe game is working but when they archieved and split with winrar/7zip they do another task along the proccess (like watch movie, etc), so file get corrupt cos archieving and extracting file is RAM eater

Redownload your failed games.

Everything works for me now, before I did have some issues with error codes when install large pkg files over 35Gb, but that was because of Winrar. 7zip solves all those problems.

I would suggest using that if you haven't already, and make sure you format the drive to exFat with a large cluster size for big files. It moves files and installs files really fast on USB 3.0 this way.

When you copy your game to your external hdd, make sure to defrag them.

I had the same problem with nioh, but after defrag the game installed successfully.

I use a software called auslogics disk defrag.

I keep getting this error everytime I try to install a pkg file. I'm using a 64GB thump drive. Any solution to fix this error?

i extract the game directly to the external Hdd and works fine with GOW 4 , i tried all, and this is the unique solution

every game i install is ok, but when i merge "patch update" for final fantasy xv. the installation begin to show error CE-36244-9, sometime another code shown. but still error...

i had tried to format hard disk, extract directly, change merged software.. but still error. i don't know why?
