PS4 Entrypoint 1.76 Payload Executing for Firmware 1.76 by IDC
Following the rewrite of his PS4 PUP Unpacker and his recent PS4LibDoc updates, today PlayStation 4 developer IDC (aka 3226:2143‏) shared his version of the PS4 Playground he calls PS4 Entrypoint 1.76 which supports payload executing for Firmware 1.76 with details below. :ninja:

Download: ps4-entrypoint-176-gh-pages.zip / GIT / Live Demo / PS4 Entrypoint 4.05

Despite Sony trying to block some PS4 Playground versions, this latest revision comes following the PS4 1.76 Advanced WebKit Playground and recent 4.05 updates from SpecterDev on Discord.

From the README.md, to quote: ps4-entrypoint-176

Payload executing for PS4 firmware 1.76.

Intended to be used with payloads developed using ps4-payload-***. Not required, as long as the payload is well-formed (should be compatible with original PS4-***).

Payload binary should be two 1MB sections. First 1MB section should be readable/executable data, second 1MB section should be readable/writeable data. It is OK if the binary is truncated. Sending more than 2MB of data is likely to corrupt memory and cause issues.

This fork makes several changes to the original PS4-playground to increase stability of running payload binaries and removes everything unrelated to this functionality.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Announced for PS4
Straight from Capcom Cup 2017 today a Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection was officially announced for PlayStation 4 scheduled to arrive in May 2018 on PS4 for $39.99. :smilexf2:

Also below are details on Sakura joining the SFV: Arcade Edition courtesy of Capcom Community Manager Andy Wong, to quote:

PlayStation Experience 2017 has come to an end, which means Capcom Cup 2017 has crowned a champion!

Whether you visited our booth at PSX, attended any match at Capcom Cup, or were watching it all from your couch at home, thank you for the support as we bid 2017 farewell.

It’s been an incredible year for Street Fighter V as we brought Akuma back for Season 2 and introduced five brand new characters to the series, each with their own unique stories, designs, and playstyles. Season 3 will add all-new fighters to the roster, but we’ve also got four familiar faces that should make all Street Fighter fans excited for 2018!

In the past, we ended each year by showing silhouettes of the characters for the following year’s Season, but this time, we revealed all six for Season 3 at once using the cinematic opening for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition! Fan-favorites Sakura, Blanka, Cody, and Sagat will return in 2018 and will be joined by newcomers Falke and G – two mysterious fighters we can’t wait to show you more of.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Announced for PS4 2.jpgComing up first is the exuberant youth herself, Sakura! Making her first appearance in Street Fighter Alpha 2, she has now graduated from high school and searches for a deeper meaning of life, all the while continuing to challenge her rival, Karin, and her idol, Ryu. This time, Sakura has a few new moves in addition to her signature emulation of Ryu’s playstyle. Sakura will be available on January 16, 2018, the same day Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition comes out.

If you purchase the Season 3 Character Pass, you’ll receive not only Sakura, but her Battle Costume with colors 3-10 and Default Costume colors 3-10 unlocked! Season 3 Character Pass holders will automatically get Blanka, Falke, Cody, G, Sagat, and their Battle Costumes and colors when they’re ready to join the fight in 2018. Beginning with Season 3, if you purchase each character individually with real money, you’ll also get the same Battle Costume and colors as you would if...

GTA V PS4 Natives Port for PlayStation 4 v1.76 by John Valincius
Following the previous updates, confirmations, PS4 GTA V Native Caller and handy Pastebin for Grand Theft Auto modders recently John Valincius ported @kurt2467's GTA5 PS3 Native Invoker for PS4 1.76 console owners. :biggrinxf2:

Download: GTA_PS4_Natives-master.zip / GIT

From the README.md, to quote: GTA_PS4_Natives

This is an edit/updated version of Kurt2467's GTA5 PS3 Native Invoker (https://github.com/kurt2467/GTAV_Native_Invoker)

Requirements
  1. 1.76 PS4
How to use
  1. Send the included loader payload (loader/loader.bin) to your PS4, you should then get a notification
  2. Build your payload
  3. Rename to plugin1.bin
  4. Copy to USB
  5. Plug USB into right USB port on the PS4 (usb0)
  6. Start game and you should get a message saying payload was loaded
Creating mods

Function loop is our entry point, this will be called whenever IS_PLAYER_ONLINE is called.

Bugs
  1. Sometimes the loader payload will crash, I will fix this if enough people complain about it
Info

The source contains a sample menu base with a couple of options. Spawn vehicle is a little bugged as the car spawns under the map, I don't have much time to fix it though.

Use optimization where possible as we do not have a lot of executable memory with this method.

I haven't exactly tested this in a while so let me know whether it's working or not.

I made something (a while ago but release now). Just a port of Kurt2467's GTA_Native_Invoker from PS3. Includes a menu base with minimal features (for reference) as well as all natives...

Though we have repeatedly confirmed that Shadow of the Colossus on PS4 is a full, ground up remake of the all-time classic, it is a fact that is harder to communicate via text or stills. To make it more clear, we have created a comparison video, which you can watch above, that shows the amount of work that has gone into this project to fully leverage the horsepower of modern gaming consoles.
