Following the previous update, PlayStation 4 developer CTurt has now confirmed the PS4 is officially jailbroken via PS4 Kernel Exploits with the ability to dump system RAM and more below!

Cturt through a tweet today, has confirmed that the PS4 could be said has already been hacked. We are still very green as to this issue but we have been having concurrent information.

Apparently it reports that could be effective for FW higher but that is waiting to be confirmed. For now, only those who are in 1.76 could soon enjoy their consoles released.

Following the initial news and follow-up, today PlayStation 4 developer CTurt confirmed news of a PS4 Kernel Exploit via Twitter!

While this is fan-freaking-tastic news, keep in mind this does not mean there is a PS4 jailbreak... yet.

Following the recent news of Naughty Dog disabling PS4 Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta game sharing, PlayStation 4 modders Xmax Katsu / EuroAli103 have released an Uncharted 4 Beta Unlock proxy application which allows users to download and install the Beta.

However, according to reports the Uncharted 4 PS4 Beta won't actually run unless you have a savegame of the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection on your PlayStation 4 console itself.

Finally, from Yifan Lu: Since apparently people here trust running random EXEs from strangers, there does not seem to be any (obvious) viruses. Although it does load a youtube video in the background for some odd reason.

The “trick” is changing the SKU of whatever you’re “purchasing” to EP9000-CUSA04051_00-UNCHARTED4MPBETA-E001 which, of course, lets you “purchase” the free beta. You can do it yourself without running an untrusted EXE by using firefox and modifying the request after checkout.

It appears Naughty Dog caught on and has now disabled Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta game sharing, meaning testers can no longer allow their friends to join in the fun.

According to GearNuke.com since the version 1.03 update it's disabled even for multiple accounts on the same PlayStation 4 console.

For those curious, prior to the update users were able to Game Share in the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer PS4 Beta using the following method courtesy of GearNuke.com, to quote:

1. Insert the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection game disc into the PlayStation 4
2. Highlight the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection game icon
3. Select ‘Overview’
4. Select the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta tile and press the X button to begin your download from the PlayStation Store.
