Sony Issues PS4 Notification on PlayStation Party Chat Recordings
Earlier today Sony publicly released the PS4 Firmware 8.00 Update, and shortly after many users reported receiving a PS4 notification on PlayStation Party Chat recordings that according to Sony is intended when chatting with a PS5 user as part of their upcoming 'voice chat recording for moderation' functionality. 🎤💬

This comes following the previous PS5 AI Voice Assistance and PS5 Controller Built-in Microphone rumors, with Sony's current stance being that although other users can record PS4 Party Chats Sony as a company doesn't.

However, many may recall last year when it was discovered that drug trafficking exchanges were taking place via PlayStation Network's in-game voice chat and messaging system and the FBI Requested User Data from Sony including in-game audio recordings... although the jury is still out if they were actually archived and supplied to the Feds or not. :sneaky:

Here's more on today's PlayStation 4 notification from Content Communications Senior Director Sid Shuman, to quote:

 UPDATE: Following this update, users are seeing a notification about Party Safety and that voice chats in parties may be recorded. Voice chat recording for moderation is a feature that will be available on PS5 when it launches, and will enable users to record their voice chats on PS5 and submit them for moderation review.

The pop up you’re seeing on PS4 right now is to let you know that when you participate in a chat with a PS5 user (post-launch), they may submit those recordings from their PS5 console to SIE.

Below is their original post, as follows:

Sony Adds New PlayStation Library to Manage PS4 / PS5 Game Downloads
Recently Sony added a new Library.PlayStation.com section on the official site that allows those with a Sony PlayStation Account to access, filter subscriptions and manage their entire video game library for both the PS4 and upcoming next-generation PS5 console. 🎮

Here are further details on Sony's latest addition from MP1st.com, to quote:

"Sony has launched a new section on their PlayStation site that gives users access to their whole game library for PS4 and PS5.

While users can currently access a download list from the PS Store via web browser, this new library site lets users look at all their purchases, along with sort them between PS+ and PS Now titles.

Users can also force download games from a download option under each title, which brings up a supported device. One of the more interesting new things of this library though is the “played” filter, which arranges titles by their most recent use."

For PS5 Sceners following, a new Black Legend Gameplay PS5 Trailer was also released today... and feel free to share your comments in the PlayStation 5 Forums. 📣
PS5 UI with Startup Sound in BK Teaser and New PlayStation 5 Trailers!
In PS5 News today with the official PlayStation 5 Launch less than a month away kicking off the PS5 Scene a Burger King teaser hints at the PS5 UI (User Interface) reveal possibility on October 15th, and here's the latest PS5 trailer videos for Bugsnax gameplay, the Sackboy: A Big Adventure story, some DIRT 5 Italy Rally Cross gameplay and a Watch Dogs: Legion trailer dubbed 'Reclaim Your Future' below! 🔥

The First 31 Minutes Of Bugsnax PS5 Gameplay

We've spent some time exploring the island of Bugsnax and meeting its grumpus inhabitants, which reveals how story driven and puzzle-oriented the game will be.

Bugsnax is a bright, colorful game about bugs that are also snacks. But with our first hands-on preview of the game, we discovered that it's also a pretty involved, narrative-driven game, and that understanding and capturing each of the 100 bugsnax scattered throughout the game's island is going to take some brainpower.

Check out the first 31 minutes of Bugsnax in the video below, with a little light commentary from Wild Horses president Philip Tibitoski and GameSpot's Phil Hornshaw as he plays the game on PC.

The opening portion shows how you'll venture to the island of Bugsnax, encounter other grumpses, the Muppet-like people of Bugsnax's world, and help them solve problems. Those problems tend to involve catching and eating bugsnax, but to do that, you'll have to observe the behavior of each variety and learn how to catch them.

It's all in service of a larger story in which you meet Bugsnax's 14 inhabitants, learn their stories, and help them with their problems. But your ultimate goal is to solve the mystery of what happened to their leader, Elizabert Megafig, and uncover the full story of the island.
