PS4PRX: PS4 SPRX Modules Creation and Loading Detailed by Swaqq
Following the PS4 CoD: AW Mod, PS3 SPRX / EBOOT Game Mods and recent PS4API update today PlayStation 4 developer SwaqqDev shared PS4PRX details on creating and loading PS4 SPRX modules including a prx_writeup.pdf and PS4Prx.exe PS4 SPRX Loader utility.

Download: prx.zip (430.05 KB) / PS4Prx.exe (23.5 KB - Fixed PS4 SPRX Loader) / PRX_505 via Backporter (Kernel_Panic___ on Twitter)

To quote from Swaqq on the details: PS4 SPRX (Creating/Loading)

Hello Everyone! Today I'll be showing you guys how PRX module loading works on PS4 and how to create them!

First things first I wanted to make some notes about this topic.

As you may know if your from the PS3 scene, the SPRX compiler is absolute garbage. This is no longer an issue anymore, as everything I've tested has worked just fine!

I also wanted to mention some of the issues Sabotage and I ran into while working on this project. When I first started this project, I just built an SPRX and loaded it into WebKit and it worked just fine. The next challenge was getting it to load in-game.

My first thought was to use 2much4u's method of loading a payload into the game, which we did and executed the SPRX through his payload. Then we realized it wasn't working because the path didn't exist. The game couldn't find the path because we were stuck in the sandbox... So we broke out of it.

Finally! We had it working! But then we realized... this is a lot of extra work, so Sabotage ported the jailbreak into ASM aswell as the rest of the code which loaded the SPRX, and we loaded it like that. The next problem we ran into was that the game kept crashing randomly.

Eventually...

PS4 GTA 5 Lamance Mod Menu v0.7 for 4.05 / 4.55 by David1337hax
Following the ArabicGuy 4.55 Payload update and PS4 GTA V 1.00 Scripts Decompiled, today PlayStation 4 developer david1337hax released his PS4 GTA 5 Lamance Mod Menu v0.7 for both PS4 4.05 and 4.55 Firmware on jailbroken consoles! :D

Download: Lamance_07_AllInAll.zip (838.78 KB) / GTAV_455_Trainer.zip (13.24 KB)

To quote from his post on NGU: This mod menu is only for 4.05 and 4.55 PS4s. It can NOT be used online. It was tested on both versions. Also this menu only runs on GTA V version 1.00. Also the payload will automatically activate the debug settings.

How to install the menu:

1. Go to your 4.05 / 4.55 exploit page and run it.
2. Inject the .bin with your injector.
3. Exit the browser (NOT Circle!) with your psn aka. home button.
4. Launch GTA 5 (Make sure GTA was not already running or else this will not work!!).
5. Success! You can now open the menu with dpadright & square.

Errors:
  • Failed to detect GTA 5 - Make sure you load the menu before opening GTA 5, or you are maybe using the JP version of GTA 5.
  • No Notifys - Please restart your ps4 & try again.
  • Console crash after loading the menu - This happens sometime on the 4.05 firmware, just restart the PS4.
  • Freeze in the GTA 5 loading screen - This may happen if you're running a EU PS4. Here's the tutorial how to fix it (95%) made by my friend:
  • Options with "Beta" - They can freeze, but not very often. Just restart the PS4.

If there are any errors in the menu, please message me on Twitter. Thanks!

PS4 Trainer Utility: Community Edition (TUCE) v0.9 by ZeroFox
Hi everyone, I have created a tool for this "modding" community, expanding on what's been done in this space.

I took out the horizon trainer file because it was actually nothing, just for demo purposes.

To start, not many people will recognize who I am because I am using a different alias. However, back in the Xbox 360 scene, I was the one who fixed up XPowerPlay by the2000 and the first person to release trainers for the 360.

Since then a lot of people approached me and I helped where I could, some of those people I encountered are even here now I believe (@DeathRGH, @vampirexx ?). That scene then took off and other people started making trainers.

That brings me to now, I've been watching the PS4 scene and what's been happening as far as memory and "trainer" tools go, and I'm happy to see some progress has been made. So I've decided to make my own contribution and help out the community as I did with the 360.

Now I've been working on this tool for awhile now in my spare time (even before PS4Cheater), but my spare time has been sparse which is why it has taken me so long to get this tool out there. Although it may seem similar to other tools out there there is added value to this specific tool.

Let me introduce you to the PS4 Trainer Utility: Community Edition (TUCE). Works on both 4.05 and 4.55.

Main Features Include:
  • Extensive searching capabilities: search for many different kinds of values (integers, floats, strings, etc.), while using different equality comparisons (bigger than, smaller than, value between, changed, unchanged, opposites such as NOT bigger than, etc).
  • Built-in dynamic trainer editor and loader: Simple and intuitive, create trainers with ease AND run them all within the same tool. Using trainers is super easy that even non-experienced people can use (they're all buttons!, just click and go!)
  • Other memory tools at your disposal: Poke memory, view memory, dump memory. Save address tables, add newly found addresses during to scan to a trainer with ease.
F.A.Q:

Q: Why is this slower scanning memory than PS4Cheater?

A:
While I can't speak for how PS4Cheater works, I noticed that when I did the EXACT same scan side-by-side using TUCE and...
