Proceeding the CoD: Black Ops Cold War Zombies PS4 Trailer, today Activision shared the latest updates on the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War PS4 Beta alongside a new PlayStation 4 trailer video below!
Here's the scoop, to quote from Editorial Lead Writer James Mattone:
Following the largest Alpha in Call of Duty history on PlayStation 4, the community has another chance to experience the next generation of global combat early before the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on November 13.
Over the course of the two weekend Beta, experience signature Black Ops combat across traditional 6v6 modes, more competitive VIP Escort, vehicle-fueled 12v12 Combined Arms, and the brand-new mode Fireteam: Dirty Bomb. The Beta will feature a selection of the game’s Multiplayer maps set in distinct global locations during the Cold War.
Players can progress and rank up in the Beta-specific levelling system where loadout items, including new weaponry, covert spytech through Field Upgrades, and badass Scorestreaks, can be unlocked by earning XP. New content will roll out across both beta weekends, so make sure to stay tuned in.

With upcoming PS5 Games retailing at $69.99 Each for standard versions, many would think PlayStation 5 titles like Godfall would allow single player (offline mode) if you don't have an Internet connection or have poor / metered bandwidth... but the official site states Online Play Required with a Godfall Developer recently confirming this suspicion on Twitter stating, to quote:
"Godfall is not a service game, but does require an internet connection to play."
Beyond any 'big brother' concerns, many users claim Always-on DRM digital rights management such as Sony's SecuROM or Irdeto's Denuvo is notorious for slowing down video games so it will be interesting to see how the PlayStation 5 handles it.

How the Sony PlayStation PS4 Security Was Defeated | MVG
As the Sony PlayStation 4's end of life approaches, in this episode we take a closer look at its the hardware and how different exploits have been used over the years to defeat the consoles security.
Among the PlayStation 5 games in the YouTube videos below are Astro's Playroom, Godfall, Devil May Cry 5 and Balan Wonderworld showcasing extended PS5 gameplay and more details via Twitter with highlights including:
PlayStation 5 will use the X button to confirm by default for ALL REGIONS including Japan, who previously used O to confirm for the past 26 years.
Reports indicate no noticeable PS5 fan noise with the console remaining cold even after 80 minutes of gameplay.
The PS5 DualSense Controller has 4 tiny lights below the touchpad that indicate which player number (1, 2, 3 or 4) you are.
These little lights are centered depending on what the number is, for example Player 1 has one light and Player 2 has two lights centered.
Since the previous Nintendo 64 (N64) PS2 on PS4 emulator port demo video and precompiled SM64 for PS3 via @zecoxao on Twitter, this weekend PlayStation 4 scene homebrew developer @Markus95 (aka @Kus00095) shared further details on the Super Mario 64 (SM64) Native Port at Logic-Sunrise.com noting the following about the PS4 PKGPS3 PKG given to him by Red-J (Twitter), to quote roughly translated:
"As Red-J says we have known each other for more than 10 years and it's been a long time since we communicate more since the PMs of LS... and what we say or share to each other does not concern LS or anyone else.
I then myself asked the dev behind the pkg, if I could give the info or not, he gave me the permission to news on it... and here is the news.
So I made a new one which respects the site charter, neither more nor less... without giving a link to the pkg... and specifying that links to the pkg are simply prohibited."
As a result of Nintendo's Recent Legal Action downloads, file names, hashes, hints, links, etc won't be posted so find them on your own. Anyone disregarding this notice will receive a permanent infraction with no other warning!
Update: PlayStation 4 homebrew developer @Osirisx has updated his Github repository now with a legal native Super Mario 64 Portminus the required assets for compiling the game.
