Since introducing the PlayStation Hits program this summer, Sony announced plans to add even more video games to the lineup on November 2nd.

Included titles to be featured are Batman: Arkham Knight, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Dying Light: The Following, Mortal Kombat X and more available at a new low price starting next week.

Here's more details from Sony Marketing VP Mary Yee, to quote: I'm happy to announce that we're adding more incredible games to the PlayStation Hits lineup on November 2 in the U.S. and Canada.

For those of you that missed it the first wave, PlayStation Hits is a collection of great PlayStation 4 games at a great price.

From award winning epics to family friendly favorites, PlayStation Hits is a fantastic way to catch up on some iconic PS4 games for $19.99 USD (MSRP) on PlayStation Store for download and select retailers across the U.S. In Canada, select titles are available at participating retailers and PS Store, and the games will range in price.

PlayStation Hits are also easily recognizable, as they each feature a unique red packaging instead of the usual blue.

Earlier this month Sony announced that a PSN Online ID Change feature was coming to PS4 Beta Testers, and since PlayStation 4 Firmware 6.02 rolled out last week many including @ZachZS received an invitation for testing the PS4 6.10 Beta Firmware which incorporates the PSN Online ID Change feature with some hefty Terms and Conditions (below) as Miku Maekawa reveals... leaving some deciding not to change their PlayStation Network Online Identification after all.

As part of the System Software 6.10 preview, we are rolling out the upcoming Change Online ID system feature. As a preview user you will be able to change your Online ID using the new system tools.

Since his previous Web Browser Patch and recent update, PlayStation 4 developer LudicrousBeach (aka McCaulay) made available both a PS4 API Server / Client Payload Library dubbed MEMAPI v1.0.0 alongside a MEMAPI Debugger for PS4 5.05 jailbroken consoles with details below.

Introduction

This API allows you to communicate with your PS4 to perform various functions such as reading memory, writing memory, sending notifications and a bunch more things similar to other peoples releases such as BISOONs PS4Lib, but they had issues such as didn't use generics or didn't quite suite my needs.

I've released this open source to allow others to improve it, make pull requests on github so we can improve the code as a community.

This software comes in two parts, the server side which is a payload that executes on your PS4, and the client side library which you can import as a reference in your own project to be able to issue these commands such as writing and reading memory.

I'll also invest in some time to write some tutorials on using this software both in as textual threads and as videos over the coming weeks.

Spidey fans get set as Marvel's Spider-Man: The Heist PS4 DLC officially launches on PlayStation 4 today featuring a new story chapter starring the elusive Black Cat and adding three fresh new suits!

Today we launched our first chapter of DLC in Marvel's Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps – Marvel's Spider-Man: The Heist. This chapter includes new missions, enemies, suits, and, of course, a new story starring none other than Black Cat herself.

While investigating the robbery of a New York art museum, Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson find themselves closing in on criminal super villain Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat. The chase will take Spidey and MJ deep into Manhattan's shadowy world of crime families.

Players will be able to unlock three new suits, including a new, original Resilient Suit designed exclusively for Marvel's Spider-Man by famed Marvel illustrator Gabriele Dell'Otto. You'll also be able to discover new collectibles and earn trophies from challenges.

One of my favorite parts of the game is J Jonah Jameson's “Just the Facts” in-game podcast. I crack a smile every time one of his episodes comes on while I'm swinging through the city – for some reason I never get tired of his ranting.
