I have been working on 8-bit Memoirs for the past 5 years, and now it seems it'll finally be released this December.

It is an eBook that'll run on your PS3, PS4 and XB1, because it uses standard Blu-ray Disc Java technology.

This project will be interesting to anyone who likes to read and has an interest in the old 8-bit consoles and computers from the 80s. If you're that generation yourself, you may find it interesting to recognize scenarios from your own life.

And if you're a younger generation, you may find it fun to read about how my generation experienced the beginning of what has now become the modern PC's and gaming-consoles we use today.

You use your gamepad to navigate the menu and pages. Usage guide available on the first pages, but it's very straight forward:

• General: Click left/right to browse pages back and forth in the current text.
• General: Click up/down to go to previous or next text.
• PlayStation: Click SQUARE to enter MENU MODE from where you select another text with X.
• PlayStation: Click SQUARE again in MENU MODE to exit to main menu.
• PlayStation: While reading a text, click X to show screenshots and illustrations in fullscreen.
• Xbox One: Click MENU to enter MENU MODE from where you select another text with A.
• Xbox One: Click MENU again in MENU MODE to exit to main menu.
• Xbox One: While reading a text, click A to show screenshots and illustrations in fullscreen.

8-bit Memoirs will be available as a free ISO download, so you can burn your own copy. But I will also offer a physical disc release that you can buy if you're too lazy to download and burn yourself - or if you just want to support the project.

The book itself contains the equivalent of 250 pages of text, 5 hours of background music, 9 hours of supplemental videos, 100 screenshots and 14 illustrations. Enough entertainment for a while.

It's been quite awhile since we last heard from developer Quake (aka Quakes69) of SubZero DeZigns who shared many of his projects including FFXIV Solar Light Nexus and Zeta and Simple PS3Updates Links, and today he's back with some handy RetroArch Tools he calls RetroList and RetroSync for video game emulation lovers!

I put together some Windows Apps for the RetroArch software that'll make Windows Users life much easier. I called them: RetroList, and RetroSync.

• Retrolist can make your RetroArch Playlist on the fly. No more MISSING Roms in your Console list section.
• RetroSync can search your Roms list and see if your Images are Synced. UnSynced Images are marked on your Roms list window.

Make your life easier by using these apps for your PsVita/PSP and w/e else.

RetroSync:

Sync your Roms with your Thumbnail Images via: Settings\User Interface\Appearance\Thumbnails\<Boxarts><Title Screens><ScreenShots>

Discover what images are missing. Find out if your image is misspelled in the Search function.

Options: None/Copy/Delete/Kill Images

• None: Does nothing but discover what you are missing. From there, you can fix, find, or replace the image.
• Copy: Copy your List of Roms Images to an Output Folder. - Faster Option Process
• Delete: Deletes your non-matching images to the Recycle Bin. - Slow Option Process
• Kill: Permanently Kill your non-matching images. - Slow Option Process

Earlier this week we caught a glimpse of the new PS4 1TB Bundles featuring NBA 2K18 & NHL 18, and today Sony unveiled a Limited Edition Call of Duty: WWII PS4 1TB Bundle for $299.99 USD / $379.99 CAD complete with a matching DualShock 4 controller and copy of Call of Duty: WWII ready for the game's launch on November 3, 2017.

Here are the details straight from Sony PlayStation Marketing VP Mary Yee, to quote:

Today I’m happy to introduce the Limited Edition Call of Duty: WWII PlayStation 4 Bundle. This special bundle features a green camo PS4 system equipped with a 1TB hard drive – which if you take a closer look you might spot patterns of something you're all familiar with.
