@abumaya The error it gave you means the application doesn't have root access. Did you have enabled the option "run programs as root" and gave the app root access when it asks for ?
yup i did but the app never asks for root access

i used simple http server and it gave me this in ps4 browser
directory index
tool
payload
installer
exploit
etc..

i do not know what to do now

I also up this step bro, how to display debug settings and ps4hen?

@abumaya Can you go to your root application (SuperSU or Magisk, for example) and look if pydroid is there, maybe root access was refused. Sometimes it doesn't ask you for root on some devices not well rooted. Otherwise, if it's not there, you can try to uncheck and check again the option "run programs as root", so that you force your device to recognize the app.

If you do all of that and the app doesn't ask for root, I can tell you that for some reason, your device is not rooted or is not well rooted. In that case, you have to unroot your phone and root it again.

@marek256 You are welcome, I hope this worked for you !!

I am going to try the iOS method , can you please make a video for iOS users ? Will be handy for all of us

Thanks in advance :)
I don’t have the ability to make videos. Sorry

@Guantanamo
Forgot about an old droid phone floating around. When I stumbled on it today, your post above came to mind. Worked first try and took less than a 3 mins start to finish. This now my preferred way. Thanks much!!

I can confirm that this also works on a Synology NAS and I am sure that this will work for any kind of server that is capable of running a webserver. At first I had a problem with "unsupported data" popup when loading the webpage. You just have to put http:// before the IP.
