PS4 4.01 Linux Installation / Ksploit Demo at GeekPwn 2016

Today at the GeekPwn 2016 Carnival in Shanghai Station the Pavilion Safety Research Lab shared a PS4 4.01 Linux installation / Ksploit demonstration exploit video via Chinese site Changting Technology Security Lab!

In the video they navigate their PS4 Web browser to http://chaitin.cn/ps4 which currently just shows their video instead of their 'Sony PlayStation4 Jailbreak' so hopefully more details on this PS4 jailbreak method will follow soon!

okay a lot of sites are reporting on the rumor. I hope it's not a fake.. and with geo standing in the picture i mean it just sort of gives credence to the thing which is a plus in my book. and there are reports @Fimo that Sony security staff was there? where did you read that again?

if they asked sony to demonstrate that the ps4 is hackable with the newest firmware and that the hackers give them the vulns. ^^

As i said two days ago, maybe they hacked it with the dirtycow exploit, (i linked to packetstormsecurity in SB), and yes, i tried it on my linux ^^ and it worked -.-"
