PS4 System Software / Firmware 5.55 Released, Don't Update!

Last month we saw a PS4 Firmware 5.53-01 Patch Update, and following news of the upcoming PS4 5.05 Jailbreak and Mira PS4 CFW today Sony released yet another mandatory security update in the form of PlayStation 4 System Software / Firmware 5.55.

As always DON'T UPDATE if you wish to use PS4 game backups and homebrew apps, and according to their official page PS4 OFW 5.55 only 'improves system performance' yet again.

I think enough will someday be to see the ps4 fully unlocked, but for the rest we stayed at 5.05 even.

i was playing skyrim yesterday, just because i saw a "super-official" trailer showing super-enhanced graphics, ALLLLLLL FAAAAAAKE... that game looks crappy as always, everything is a scam from sony, my pro is not much (if any) better than my fat... the only enjoyable games i played was rime, talos, inside, zombie trilogy... tired and bored of horizon-farcry-gta formula (go-back-carrie that-kill-go again, im not a fcking delivery...).

I hate my ps4s. have 3 of them, pure waste of money and usb hdds, im considering to look at the next move of other companys. Now im happy playing destiny on my ps3(jb).

Haha, i had the same problem with a old bundle i ordered online. 1
Week before the 4.00 exploit got released. The bundle had a CUH-1216B PS4 with 3.15 FW.
