PS4 System Software / Firmware 8.52 is Now Live, Don't Update!

In PS4Scene news following their previous update and recent PlayStation Hacktivity, today Sony pushed live PS4 System Software / Firmware 8.52 with a brief changelog detailed below.

This latest PlayStation 4 revision arrives proceeding the PS4 DevKit Leak and amid recent signups for their PS5 Firmware / System Software Beta Program aimed at those already in the PS5 Scene.

As always DON'T UPDATE if you wish to use PS4 game backups and homebrew apps whenever a new PS4 jailbreak exploit arrives, and we'll add any related Tweets as PlayStation 4 Scene developers have a chance to examine it.

I haven't turned on my PS4 Pro in months... probably going to leave it that way until the devs catch up on it and hack the fw for it.... That cyberpunk update is impressive though.

My PS4 accidentally updated from 6.72 to 8.00.

@Ubiq was the disable update payload enabled cause i have heard that sometimes even after using disable updates payload the console updates if it finds one.

I'm terrible sorry for the noob question but I've read dozens of topics and they're too technical for me at the time (I'm experienced in vita, switch, PS3, but not PS4 scene).

My PS4 was updated to 8.00 by accident last September I think, and I disconnected it from the network immediately. 8.00 is still not possible to jailbreak?

Correct, the most recent jailbreak was the PS4JB2 for PS4 6.72, 7.02 and 7.50-7.55 Firmware versions.
