Recently Polyphony Digital President and Creator of Gran Turismo Kazunori Yamauchi announced that Gran Turismo 7 races to both PS5 and PS4 on March 4th, 2022... however, in asterisked fine print it notes for GT Campaign (including Single Player) mode alongside the Livery Editor, Scapes, Trial Mountain / High-Speed Ring legendary circuits, GT Cafe and GT Auto tuning an Internet connection is required.

While some of the other features are reminiscent of GT Sport lending validation to the online requirement, making an Internet connection mandatory for the GT Campaign Solo mode isn't sitting well with some GT7 enthusiasts.

To quote from PushSquare.com on this Gran Turismo 7 requirement concern:

"Some fans will be wondering why they can't enjoy the single player campaign without an Internet connection – especially if it operates independently from the multiplayer modes."

Many may recall last year when an Internet Connection Required for Godfall PS5 Single Player was confirmed, followed by the announcement of Denuvo Anti-Cheat Technology Coming to PS5 Developers as reports noted that Microsoft's Xbox Series X DRM Adversely Affects Offline Gameplay.

What's next? Perhaps Sony's Cloud Gaming Patent for System & Method to Stream Video could be implemented in the PlayStation realm.

We planned to cover Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) PS4 DLC PKGs, option files, rosters and season update patches last year but not being a big sports fan it was left on the back burner... however, recently @donatelo27 of Indonesian Internet forum Kaskus.co.id shared on Twitter a test update PES 21 Smoke Patch 21.3.7 for PS4 HEN 6.72-7.55 crediting pessmokepatch of PESSmokePatch.com so away we go!

For those (like me) who didn't know, apparently Konami has rebranded their annual PES 2021 / 2022 soccer game to eFootball 2021 / 2022 with eFootball 2022 arriving on PlayStation 4 this September 30th... just one day before EA Sports launches FIFA 22 on October 1st.

Those in the PS4Scene with a Jailbroken PS4 console seeking new PS4 PKG Games to play may encounter Base64 Encoded links or Torrent Magnet links in addition to standard Web-based download links.

Following our PSXHAX Member Verification & PS4 Fake PKG (FPKG) Sharing Guide, this beginner's guide outlines how to decode and download PS4 FPKG Games from encoded links or torrent magnets to help newcomers in the PlayStation 4 Scene learn the basics.
When downloading PS4 Game PKGs you may come across a something that looks like a random text string, for example:

What the heck is that.. Where is the download link??!

The answer is that's a Base64-encoded link, often used by uploaders to prevent automated BOTs and compliance agents from reporting or removing file downloads.

In order to decode the text string and get the actual download link, simply copy and paste it into a site like Base64Decode.org, click the green 'Decode' button and in the area below you'll see the decoded URL link as pictured:


In the above example the resulting URL link was that of this guide (https://www.psxhax.com/threads/downloading-ps4-pkg-games-that-are-base64-encoded-or-torrents-guide.10185/), but in most cases the decoded link would be the URL of the PS4 FPKG Game file you're seeking to download. Leech away!
