Hello World! I've been reporting on Sony PlayStation hacking news since 2000 and started PSXHAX in 2014 to cover PlayStation (PSX), PlayStation 2 (PS2), PlayStation 3 (PS3), PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation Portable (PSP), PlayStation Vita (PS Vita), PlayStation TV (PS TV) and next-gen PlayStation 5 (PS5) platforms along with anything else of interest.
Click on my UserName author link above and you'll be able to view a curated list of all the articles I've contributed thus far to PSXHAX.COM!
This is a modified Version of Flatz's Remote PKG Installer with The PS4 PKG Store integrated into it. It is fully customizable (All of the Files are stored in /data/store if you want to create or install a theme)
You can host your own Packages and use them with this by modifying and hosting the pkgs.json as well as the .pkg Files...
It's New Year's Eve, and to close 2018 with a bang following his Dying Light PS4 Dev / Cheat Menu from yesterday PlayStation 4 developer @DeathRGH on Discord released his next PS4 Dev / Cheat Menu via Twitter... this time being for Dead Island: Riptide 1.03 complete with a demo video below.
Remember to party like it's 2019 tonight everyone!!
To quote from the blog post at Logic-Sunrise.com, roughly translated: [PS4] Half-Life Blue Shift v1.0
In order to make the most homebrew available on PS4, here is a new PKG compatible 4.05, 4.55, 4.74 and 5.05 of a Half-Life Blue Shift mod born by supadupaplex on PS2.
I said PS2 porting is not mine, I only built the PS4 PKG in order to launch it on PS4, all the work goes to supadupaplex that brought this project to PS2, I only did compile the PKG to facilitate its use for PS4 users.
The game is completely stable now. Instabilities were caused by a bug in the game code: reference to every used file is stored in RAM inside special section and unused references are never cleared. When this file reference list goes out of bounds all sorts of crazy things can happen. So I made a hack that increases size of this section from ~206KiB to 512KiB
Added save game isolation to prevent crashes by loading saves from wrong games
Merged HD and SD models into one ISO and made in-game selector to choose between them
Added an option to play with Dreamcast models (and maps)
I found out that I messed up soundtrack in previous builds. Correct PC soundtrack would play now if you choose to play with PC models and authentic Dreamcast soundtrack would play if you choose to play with Dreamcast or PS2 models
There should be less rescaling artifacts on map textures
Lots of other small improvements that I forgot about
To quote from the embedded tweet: "Today I got something very special for you. I ported a pc dev menu for dying light to ps4. It is packed into an update file."
Check out a demonstration video below alongside some other tweets making rounds on Twitter today!

Note: For those on lower PS4 Firmware it's recommendedNOT to update your PS4 console for this method, as $ony is likely to patch it very soon and then you'll be stuck with a PlayStation 4 console that can't run backup games, emulators, exploits and homebrew with no way of downgrading the PS4 once the 'temporary' method is patched.
Update: The method is now confirmed to be patched as expected!
Check out the PS4 6.20 method demo video below, and here are the tutorial steps from the description guide as follows to quote:
Add your account with games to PS4 and activated
After changing your user for see all games is unlocked
After going to account with games and wait in deactivate menu
