Gold PS4 Slim 1TB Box Image & Rumors of June Release Spotted
With the Gold DualShock 4 Wireless Controller available until the end of this month at GameStop and BestBuy for $64.99, rumors of a Gold PS4 Slim 1TB box image and a June 9th release window were recently spotted on Reddit by marmaro8 (who has since deleted his account). 
To quote from PlayStationLifeStyle: "According to an image from Reddit user marmaro8, Sony is preparing to launch a 1TB Gold PlayStation 4 Slim console. After another Reddit user pointed out that the image is from a Target, marmaro8 said the release date could be June 9 – just a few days prior to E3 2017.
As you may recall, Sony began offering the 1TB PS4 Slim in North America this past April for $299.99 USD/$379.99 CAD, so that could be the price of the Gold PS4 Slim. They also partnered with Taco Bell in 2015 to give away a Gold version of the older PS4 model."
Update: It appears the Gold PS4 Slim is a thing as Sliye (who works at Target) also posted an image of it now, stating the following:
"Some of you may know already, or maybe not. But I work at target and it looks like the PS4 gold is coming June 9th. Shows up on our equipment."

Sony PlayStation E3 Experience 2017 Live in Theaters June 12th
Sony's PlayStation E3 Experience 2017 is coming live to movie theaters on June 12th for those who can't make it to E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center this year. 
Below are all the cinema details straight from Sony Interactive Entertainment Marketing Specialist Tiane Bella, to quote:
This is the third year we’re broadcasting our E3 Press Conference live to theaters across North America and I can’t wait to bring the excitement of E3 straight to you. Watching the announcements and news alongside other members of the PlayStation community is an experience like no other.
Attendees will take home an exclusive poster and #76 from the PlayStation Collectable Card series. This will be the only way to get your hands on these, so don’t miss out! Want more than just limited edition swag?
We’ve got you covered - everyone will also get a digital gift basket chock-full of goodies from PlayStation Store.
Tickets for US and Canada are 100% free and will be available at playstation.com/E3experience starting Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00 AM PT while supplies last. To register for a ticket, you will need to create a free Gofobo account. Tickets will be sent to the email address used to create your Gofobo account.
Attendees who have registered for a ticket will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis until the theater reaches capacity. Make sure to arrive early! PS4 Reballed by Vyktormvmpay25, Seeking Devs to Compare Dumps
We've seen PlayStation 4 hardware mod projects including UniversalFlash with a Glitch Pinout, a PSN Gamesharing Hardware Mod followed by a cheap Dump Programmer and recently video game console modder vyktormvmpay25 shared pictures of his first reballed PlayStation 4 console inviting developers interested in examining and comparing the PS4 dumps to contact him.
For PS4 hardware modders, previously professional console service shop Virtual Future shared a gallery documenting the PlayStation 4 reballing of Sony's APU CXD90026G BGA chip by Spox_2 as well.
To quote: "This is my first PS4 reballed and I intend to make a few tests and if any developer interested to mod/modifications to dump just sent me an pm and will give this dump for experiments and test.
I have 5 blank eproms atm for it and interested to make many tests. ATM just finished my work with reball and will try to make this dump first. Don't own an controller ATM but will get it soon."
