PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset White Version Coming Next Month
Today Sony announced that their ultra-comfy PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset will be available in a new white version beginning next month. :music:

Hopefully it won't require a Bass Fix, and here are the details straight from Platforms Product Marketing Manager Steve Schwartz to quote:

We are thrilled to announce that a new white version of the Gold Wireless Headset will be joining the lineup this October in North America, just in time for the holidays. With the same enhanced comfort and performance of the new Gold Wireless Headset, gamers can stand out a bit more with this new crisp white color.

As always, it’s the connection to games that makes our headsets great, and we are happy to announce more titles with audio mode* support through the headset companion app** for both Gold and Platinum headsets.

These audio modes, tuned by the developers themselves, let you experience the game as the developers intended. Dive into densely populated jungles, markets, and bustling city hubs, with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, or relive the iconic sounds of the dragon realms with Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

3D Audio***, our enhanced deep immersion audio function for the Platinum Wireless Headset, gets new supported titles as well. We look forward to an incredible new RPG experience from EA's Anthem, and the brutal test of survival in Days Gone.

Are you excited for the new white version of Gold Headset? Let us know in the comments.

*Audio mode is available only with PS4 system.
**Sony Entertainment Network account and Internet service required.
***3D audio is available only with Platinum Wireless Headset on PS4 with select titles.

How to Keep PSN Accounts Secured Against Hackers / Social Engineers
How to Keep PSN Accounts Secured Against Hackers / Social Engineers by @HydrogenNGU (Twitter) of NextGenUpdate.com

Introduction

Today I bring you a nice informative thread towards those who have PlayStation Network Accounts. Far as I know, a ton of accounts has been getting leaked and compromised lately towards bad security.

Yes, anonymous individuals steal accounts by either running software only a hand full of people own, or by using their Social Engineering skills against poor Sony Officials which only a few people can do.

I honestly don't know how people keep getting their accounts stolen when Sony has added better security to accounts with video guides lately since the PlayStation 4 console has been released. I bring you the best method out there at the moment on how to keep your account the safest as possible.

Safety & Security

Let's start off with the basics, then we'll get into the advanced things we will need. Go to the PlayStation Network Website -- of course of your region. For an example, click here if you're in the United States: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/

Go ahead and log into your, and head over to your Account Settings. Just follow what I do here down below. You're going to make sure you input valid information! If you put random information into your data, the day will come you call Sony, and forget to tell them your valid information. So just make sure you don't add anything fake in there; there is a point where you will need to fake something, but it boosts your security!

Identity / Basics

Name

  • This is a MAJOR part of security. I would say for you to put your real name, but Social Engineering is a pretty big role on this topic. Make sure you add a nickname that only your FAMILY knows of. You can get friendly with random people off of PSN/Social Media and call them "friends", but not everyone stays "real" in the world we live in. Whenever a Social Engineer calls Sony, they ask them for the name on the...
Rockstar Introduces the Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro Bundle
That's right, the highly anticipated sequel Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar launches with a PS4 Pro bundle on October 26th! :D

According to GearNuke.com the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro bundle will feature Sony's new CUH-72XX series hardware, and the revision now includes PlayStation logo stickers as can be seen below.

This bundle includes a 1TB Jet Black PS4 Pro system, a DualShock 4 wireless controller and Red Dead Redemption 2 on Blu-ray disc. This bundle will be available across the U.S. and Canada for $399.99 (MSRP) / $499.99 CAD (MSRP) with pre-orders starting today.

Here's more details from Sony PlayStation Marketing VP Mary Yee, to quote: On PS4 Pro, 4K HDR TV owners will benefit from enhanced graphics and optimized performance for a stunningly sharp and detailed look (when compared to a PS4 system), as you live, ride and fight to survive as an outlaw in a notorious gang.

HD TV owners will benefit from increased image clarity through the PS4 Pro's Supersampling Mode (you can turn on Supersampling Mode in the PS4 Pro system settings menu).

Meanwhile, if your TV supports high-dynamic range (HDR), you'll experience the picturesque scenery of Red Dead Redemption 2 with an even more vibrant and dynamic range of colors (HDR features also available on PS4 system).

If you have yet to experience everything the most advanced PlayStation system has to offer, Red Dead Redemption 2's epic tale of life in America at the dawn of the modern age provides a great opportunity to get a PS4 Pro.

Be sure to check out the Red Dead Redemption 2 PlayStation 4 Pro Bundle, launching next month!
