Following the recent PS4 Barthen Method for getting newer games running with PS4HEN, some forum members including @SkysTheLimit, @Goldenboy22 and @Picalo would like to open a discussion of theories on how newer PlayStation 4 game dumps can become playable on exploited 4.05 Firmware consoles.
So this is no big news with in the MKXL PC community, BUT it is big news for us all within the PS4 jailbreaking community!
I was trying at 1st to modify files in MKXL then use FTP to transfer the newer files over, unfortunately the files would not copy over at all ?
So I decide to tackle the situation differently by building the PKG with the modify files. It was a bit more time-consuming but it works !
With that being said this technique could be applied towards other games as well. Enjoy the video !
One more thing for some reason the game black out's...
When I try to exit right out from the game it self, but if I Close the App its just fine and also if you do try any other games and you get a black screen lock/loop just (hold down the power button) I had to learn the hard way by unplugging it.
By doing that I had to reformat it & back it up my PS4 so be careful!
Since his PS4 UART for Dummies Guide, PlayStation 4 developer @LightningMods let us know in the Shoutbox that he released a Controller Test homebrew application called ControllerHomebrew.pkg on Twitter with details below.
To quote: "Today, I will be releasing my Controller Test Homebrew i made ... it took me a VERY long time and 7 UART Logs later i have my first PS4 Homebrew, and much more to come!"
Update: Also below is Open GCI by milador, which is an open source accessible game controller interface for PS4 with more details available in the README.md file.
