Ferrox PS3 Custom Firmware 4.82 Standard v1.01 by Alexander
Last month they released both Ferrox PS3 CFW 4.82 Standard v1.0 followed by Ferrox PS3 CFW 4.82 v1.00 Cobra 7.53, and today PlayStation 3 developer @Alexanderss returns with Ferrox PS3 Custom Firmware 4.82 Standard v1.01 and the changes below!

As promised, we update the version of this CFW developed by our Developer Alexander. In v1.00 of the FERROX Standard Custom Firmware, slight shortcomings had been noted. So now the cleanest CFW to go online is stable and accurate. Version then updated to v1.01.
You will all know the standard version of the FERROX now, but in case you are new to the world of Jailbreak and CFW, know that this is the safest CFW to avoid a Ban from the online game console. This Firmware contains only the Patches needed to be a complete CFW, but still modest. If you need more features, you can fall back to the COBRA version of the FERROX.
This is only a Fix version, but it is recommended to install it to get everything precise and fully functional. Let's see the features, even if you have memorized them.

8-bit Memoirs Blu-ray eBook Issue #1 by Misthalu is Released!
Well, officially the release date isn't till tomorrow as planned, but I might as well make the post now. 
8-bit Memoirs Issue #1 released! 8-bit Memoirs is intended to become a series of eBooks about how different authors experienced the computers and consoles back in the 8-bit era, written from the perspective of the kids we were at the time.
I'm proud to be able to present you with the first issue of 8-bit Memoirs, written by myself.
The computers and consoles I experienced back in the 8-bit era includes the Philips Videopac G7000, the Amstrad CPC and the Amiga. So the stories in issue #1 describes how I experienced (some of) the games on those systems, and how I experienced creating my own BASIC stuff on the Amstrad CPC.
My stories contain supplemental illustrations, screenshots and videos - and there's a 5-hour long playlist to accompany you while you're reading, consisting mainly of the Amstrad CPC music I made back then, but also some tracks by various artists of IndieGameMusic.com
I have wrapped all the stories in a somewhat retrostyled diskmag-like GUI, because I've always found diskmags extremely cosy myself, and my biggest wish is that 8-bit Memoirs will give you the same nostalgic relaxation that diskmags has given me in the past. I also wanted to boost the retro-feeling while you're reading, and I think the diskmag-like GUI helps doing that.
8-bit Memoirs is completely free!
Issue #1 is available as a 23 gb ISO file that you can download from www.8bitMemoirs.com
You can play this ISO file on your PC with any software media player that supports BD-J. I strongly recommend Cyberlink PowerDVD for this. Otherwise VLC is your buddy. (Although VLC is still in its early stages of getting BD-J support, so it's not the best way to experience 8-bit Memoirs at the moment. Expect bugs!)
Other devices should also play the ISO file, either from harddisk or from a USB: Devices such as the Popcorn Hour, or Dune HD Smart D1. In the near future you can also expect various software media centers, such as Kodi, to be able to play it.
The recommended way of experiencing 8-bit Memoirs Issue #1 is on a real Blu-ray player though. This includes the gaming consoles PlayStation 3 (and later) and Xbox One (and later).
But burning the ISO to a disc requires a...

Sony Unveils Free PlayStation Plus Games for December 2017
This coming December Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition and Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends headline Sony's PlayStation Plus free games lineup for PS Plus members.

In Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends, face off alongside or against Po and other Kung Fu Panda characters in up-to four person battles in the iconic Kung Fu Panda universe. This is the perfect game to bring families together for some friendly rivalry during the holidays.

Monster Hunter: World is rapidly approaching its release, but you can get a taste of the hunt from December 9 to December 12 exclusively as a PlayStation Plus member. In this beta, you’ll be tasked with hunting a Great Jagras and an Anjanath in the Ancient Forest, as well as a Barroth in the Wildspire Waste. While these are your main quest targets, be on the lookout for other deadly monsters roaming each ecosystem.
Lastly, for a limited time, PlayStation Plus members can grab the Smite PlayStation Plus Pack for free! The bundle includes 31 Skins, 20 Gods and Voice Packs, plus the Khepri Announcer Pack. The bundle is available from December 12 to January 9.
