PS4Link Updated Fixing PS4SH Hanging Issue by PS4 Dev BigBoss
Following his recent work and the addition of Peek & Poke to PS4Link, today PlayStation 4 developer BigBoss updated PS4Link fixing a PS4SH hanging issue when the connection with the PS4 was lost and adding execdecrypt description and output. :smilexf2:

Download: ps4link-master.zip / GIT

According to the changes: Let you list filenames in directories from PlayStation 4 system.

execdecrypt ps4directorypath

Lets you decrypt all elf, self, sprx, prx, dll, sdll, exe, sexe and eboot.bin files from PlayStation 4 system and save it in your PC/Mac with the same name ps4 directory. You need first create in pc/mac where are you running ps4sh mkdir -p ps4/yourps4path

For example for /system/sys decrypt
Code:
```
ps4sh> mkdir -p ps4/system/sys
ps4sh> execdecrypt /system/sys
```
Check output at [link](https://gist.github.com/psxdev/cbbace3d73c6bd93250111842b61d1f4)
5) exitps4
Try to close ps4link resources. If you try to run ps4sh again when all is released you will get a messager saying that it can't connect. Now you can leave ps4 browser.

Some related PS4 and PS3 Scene Tweets:
From Pastebin.com to restart the console:
Code:
char magic[] = {
    0x00, 0x00, 0x03, 0xE9
};

int main(int argc, char **argv) {
    psvDebugScreenInit();
    psvDebugScreenPrintf("Rebuilding database(maybe)...\n");

    FILE *fp = fopen("ur0:shell/db/dbr.db-err","wb");

    fwrite(magic , sizeof(char), sizeof(magic), fp);

    fclose(fp);

    scePowerRequestColdReset();

    sceKernelExitProcess(0);
    return 0;
}
Thanks to @Fimo and @raedoob for the heads-up in the PSXHAX...
Poll: Is Gaming Heading to Streaming Rather Than Performing?
As we are heading into 2017, the gaming industry is still launching new hardware, however it is also clear to see, that there are companies working on better software.

For our generation, it's been if you have the hardware, you can run the software. But it's slowly changing now to everything being in the "cloud."

We are slowly watching games being pushed into a streaming service, such as PlayStation Now, letting users stream PS3 games to other platforms. And there is also Nvidia's Ge-force experience which can let you stream your games to other devices...

With streaming games, people can play whatever on any device theoretically. And the speeds of the internet for the general consumer is getting better every decade. Eventually, the gaming industries will eventually find streaming more profitable because;
  1. they can charge monthly for software (receive more than $60 without DLC)
  2. remove the cost of dlc as it will be a service
  3. prevent unfair advantages/mods
  4. sell consoles for cheap
There are many more benefits to streaming games in the future. I strongly believe Microsoft had the intentions of making the first Xbox One like this, which was the reason for the "always connected" DRM. It wasn't to spy, but to allow developers to begin the transition of the future of gaming.

Let's face it, the cloud is becoming everything, how long will gaming stay as a hardware battle before the gaming platforms are just Internet clients?
