A few days back Microsoft's majornelson confirmed their backward compatibility engineers completed the necessary work to now include game 'multiple disc' support as part of the XBox One backward compatibility features.

There is an XBox One Backward Compatibility List on MajorNelson's official site HERE for those seeking the latest updates on their growing number of XBox 360 games now supported on XBox One.

To quote from NeoSeeker.com on the XBox One backwards-compatibility news: "When the program launched last November, a total of 104 Xbox 360 games were available to play. That number has steadily grown ever since, from standalone backwards compatibility releases to monthly Games with Gold releases.


One thing fans have noticed, though, is that new BC releases have always been single disc 360 games. Up until just recently, games that span multiple discs had proven to be a technical hurdle the backward compatibility engineers were unable to jump.

Major Nelson took to Reddit to confirm that multiple disc games do in fact work with backwards compatibility now."

This year's E3 Expo (Electronic Entertainment Expo) runs from June 14-16th 2016 in Los Angeles, California and today Sony officially revealed the date and time of their PlayStation press conference at the event.

According to their E3 2016 media invites sent out today, the PlayStation press conference will be held on Monday, June 13th 2016 at 6PM Pacific time (9PM EST).

The rumor mill at Geeksultd.com also reports that a game industry insider believes the upcoming PS4K (aka PS4.5 / PS4 Neo) console will first debut at the trade show during Paris Games Week in October, rather than at Sony's E3 2016 press conference.

Today Executive Producer Stephen Ricossa revealed that Star Trek Online is coming free-to-play to PlayStation 4 and XBox One with an official announcement trailer video below!

The Tomahawk F1 by Chinese gaming company Fuze is the latest hybrid-looking console heading to gamers.
