Load HEN & Debug Settings Payload Using 4.55 Kernel Exploit without having to send payloads using NETCAT.

Summary

In this project you will find a full implementation of the "bpf" kernel exploit for the PlayStation 4 on 4.55. It will allow you to run arbitrary code as kernel, to allow jailbreaking and kernel-level modifications to the system. This release however, does not contain any code related to defeating anti-backups mechanisms or running homebrew. This exploit does include a loader that listens for payloads on port 9020 and will execute them upon receival.

This bug was discovered by qwertyoruiopz, and can be found hosted on his website here.

• Download Compiled Payload
• Edit Payload With [PLAIN]HXD[/PLAIN]
• Find & Change IP Address from 192.168.88.87 to Your PS4 IP 192.168.xxx.xxx
• Save Payload
• Send Payload Using Netcat

nc.exe -w 3 `PS4IP` 9020 < PS4FTP.bin

• Open Filezilla & Connect to PS4

@Tanmay007 not for me its refusing to show any pkgs for some reason everything else works but this damn pkg installer in debug settings not show any pkgs from my hard drive I tried 3 payloads sources i got everything but the ability to install pkgs from my external hard drive to the internal hard drive of the ps4 as it show nothing in install pkgs

@mschumacher69 installing games to external hdd was officially added in v4.50. This should've worked on 4.55 but the HEN payload has a bug which prevents it. And the developer of 4.55 HEN has refused to fix it due to backup concerns.

@Ricky2416 try using a different storage medium like a pen drive and see if that's detected.

@Ricky2416 make sure your USB Storage Device is formatted to exFAT and that it's being recognized by your PS4. Some devices might give you a message that they are not compatible with the PS4.

Nier alone makes it worth it. My vr is 2.50 and working fine.

I think the best way to sum it up is pretty much all the people i follow on twitter moved to 4.55. I moved to 4.55. As i posted earlier if things are not working its either your settings, files, or method.

Well, lets hope somebody will fix this, i mean, main feature of 4.55 is pro support and external storage support.

External storage works for me just fine. I hooked up a 2tb Seagate passport drive. Tranfered all games to it. Plus installed games to it

what i find weird is i used this drive to update the ps4 to 4.55 and yes it been formatted today again to exfat i will however take your advice and test a usb drive just in case
