Load HEN & Debug Settings Payload Using 4.55 Kernel Exploit without having to send payloads using NETCAT.

Summary

In this project you will find a full implementation of the "bpf" kernel exploit for the PlayStation 4 on 4.55. It will allow you to run arbitrary code as kernel, to allow jailbreaking and kernel-level modifications to the system. This release however, does not contain any code related to defeating anti-backups mechanisms or running homebrew. This exploit does include a loader that listens for payloads on port 9020 and will execute them upon receival.

This bug was discovered by qwertyoruiopz, and can be found hosted on his website here.

• Edit Payload With [PLAIN]HXD[/PLAIN]
• Find & Change IP Address from 192.168.88.87 to Your PS4 IP 192.168.xxx.xxx
• Save Payload
• Send Payload Using Netcat

nc.exe -w 3 `PS4IP` 9020 < PS4FTP.bin

• Open Filezilla & Connect to PS4

If you have had ever had HEN on 4.05 and have run the UpdateBlocker v1 or v2 payloads before: you must FTP into your PS4 and delete the PS4UPDATE.PUP.net.temp file in the /update folder. Use XVortex FTP payload on 4.05 (included in Al-Azif exploit host below) and use filezilla on PC. Credits: Qwertyuiop

So show your extensive results from google! which games profit from the new exploit? wwich games are between 4.05 and 4.55? I cant find a database, so, if i miss something and there is a database i fail to see, give me a hint.

i've made a google spreadsheat with ~1600 PS4 games, their specific release dates in us and eur and the info, which ps4 system fw was out there at the specific date of the game release. no perfection. not a list of the real fw requirement, but at least a good approximation.

so maybe...after posting this....i'll climb up in the glory ranking system of psxhax and can contribute something to the community.

Someone please tell me how to block updates on 4.55. The system is automatically downloading it (I have it set to not auto install).
