Ricochet Anti-Cheat Kernel Driver Coming to Call of Duty: Vanguard & Warzone
The cat and mouse game continues between video game companies and cheaters, and while obtaining search warrants on suspected cheaters and filing lawsuits against modders may act as deterrents Activision's intimidation tactic comes in the form of a Ricochet Anti-Cheat Kernel-Level Driver that will first arrive in the Pacific update for Call of Duty: Warzone and subsequently launch for Call of Duty: Vanguard at a later date. 
In summary, Ricochet Anti-Cheat is a multi-faceted approach to combat cheating featuring new server-side tools, an enhanced investigation processes, updates to strengthen account security and more... noting that while the kernel driver will release to PC, console gamers playing via cross-play against those on PC will also stand to benefit.
This comes following the PlayStation 5 News of Denuvo Anti-Cheat Technology Available to PS5 Developers, confirmation of Denuvo V11's Failure via EMPRESS and reports on a massive PS4 Console Game BOT Farm discovered.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of PlayStation VR's introduction to the world following the PS5 VR Controller unveiling earlier this year, PlayStation VR2 Dev Summit updates and PSVR: Live The Game promo video previously released. 
To celebrate PlayStation VR's fifth anniversary, Sony Peripherals Marketing and Licensing Senior Director Isabelle Tomatis announced that starting in November PlayStation Plus members will get three PS VR bonus games for no extra charge with further details coming in the next few weeks.
