PS4 CFW and Hacks

After a lot of work, I'm announcing Stickman Zombie Attack homebrew game PKG made with Unity for the PS4.

Thanks to all the beta testers @jwooh, @DEFAULTDNB and @FFTHEWINNER they helped me a lot finding bugs and giving me ideas.

PS4 controls:

• Left analog stick: aim the gun
• Right analog stick: move (in boss battle)
• L1, R1, Square: shoot
• Cross: Rage (when available)
• Triangle: Jetpack (when available)
• Circle: throw bomb (when available)
• Options: pause

PC controls:

• Mouse: aim the gun
• WASD / Arrow keys: move (in boss battle)
• Left mouse button: shoot
• E: Rage (when available)
• Q: Jetpack (when available)
• R: throw bomb (when available)
• Escape: pause

Since the release of PS4 Reaper (debugger and trainer maker) the goal was to gather modders and gamers around one passion.

Today we've come along way: 3 Universal Trainers (PC, Android, iOS), 247 Trainers in total... and now we're are proud to announce the PS4Modding.net new web platform for game modding!

What is it ?

It's mainly a platform dedicated to modding games, it includes:

• New web trainer service (using webrte2.bin, will not work with old payload)
• Universal trainer host (all trainers are now synchronized between all app and service)
• Rating and comment System for all trainers and content
• Modded Saves
• Secured backend for modders (to avoid trainer stealing, only the mod maker has control on his trainer no user or other modder could see the data now)
• Modding Tools host for Dev
• Game modding Tutorial for newbie modders (coming soon!)
• ...........

All the available trainers have been updated now to synchronize data:

• PS4 MultiTrainer (Multitrainer.zip)
• PS4 DroidTrainer (PS4Reaper.PS4DroidTrainer.apk)

Proceeding the MSXORBIS MSX Core from BigBoss and recent Resident Evil CODE: Vita PS4 homebrew game in development by @Markus95, this weekend @oneman123 shared on Twitter a shoot 'em up Orbis MSX Super Laydock: Mission Striker PS4 PKG build compiled by Markus00095 for retrogamers to enjoy! 🕹

He notes in the Tweets below that in the fMSX emulator test build the game runs slow, without sound and only includes one game at the moment but it may be possible to patch the EBOOT to add additional games yourself.

Orbis MSX Super Laydock: Mission Striker (PS4 Homebrew) via MasterTurkey

Following his recent Gentoo PS4 and Ubuntu PS4 Beta Builds, today @cedsaill4 shared on Twitter a PS505_normal.bin 5.05 Loader Payload by @mircohoooo (aka Mircoho on Twitter) for installing Linux on the internal PS4 hard disk drive (HDD) alongside a demonstration video from IT Mania below!

ATTENTION: Everything you do, you do at your own peril and risk!

Works on FAT models and maybe Slim! (according to KiiWii on 10xx/11xx models only)

You can install either PSXITArch Linux v2 or another distribution (for example: Fedora 29 or Gentoo).

Installation order:

• Create the boot folder and get / user / system / boot.
• Copy initramfs and bzimage from the attached archive into this folder.
• Create the linux folder and get user / system / linux and copy the Linux distribution image that you like.
• Rename it to linux.tar.xz
• Load the console and enter the command:

• I had to reboot .. Done!

Last week the PlayStation 4 scene caught a glimpse of his Reicast Sega Dreamcast Emulator PS4 Port in development, and following the PS4 GBEmu and previous GBA PS4 Port today @oneman123 (ZiL0G80 on Twitter) passed along a PS4 mGBA Game Boy Advance Emulator Port PKG by @zezu420 (aka Znullptr on Twitter or dmiller423 on Github) that was packaged by SWIM.
