PlayStation 4 v4.00 WebKit Crash and PS4 Dev Updates by Ryan111
The Shingen Beta was found to be buggy and it appears the PS4 4.00 OFW is no different, as PlayStation 4 developer @ryan111 discovered a PS4 4.00 WebKit Crash still plagues Sony's latest Firmware update with confirmation from @JNSXModz (YouTube Channel) as well. :)

Speaking of blogs (we weren't, but are now :giggle:) @ryan111's PS4 Dev Blog, which was updated yesterday, now has a few new entries which you can check out here: http://PS4Work.BlogSpot.ca/

Included are kewl things like a PlayStation 4 libSceAvSetting.sprx file dump from PS4 OFW 4.0 and 3.55 / 4.00 store.db files among this core file type (see the Wiki) string discovered: eCoreDumpType: $FDFBD280-90A6-4CFB-ADCC-D0BDBB0A302E

Keep calm and HAX on peoples!!! :ninja:
PSA: Want a PS4 JailBreak Tip? Don't Update to PS4 Firmware 4.00!
Sometimes common sense isn't, well... so common! :geek: Tonight Sony is releasing PS4 Firmware 4.00, and PlayStation 4 developer @Tigerfy (Twitter / YouTube Channel) sent out a reminder to sceners NOT to update if you intend to Jailbreak your PS4 console at some point in time. Easy peasy, right?

Also earlier today @ryan111 shared a new PS4 Dev Blog with three brief entries, and has since added a fourth with links to files along with some more updates below including PS4 kernel memory addresses at offsets 0x23 0x24 0x25 and for other things 0x28 with *** memory address = 0x%
Cheers to @VultraAID for the news in the PSXHAX.COM Shoutbox and to @IvarKarl for keeping UP the daily EPEEN gossip! I'm still waiting for EVAG to pwn EPEEN :D

PS4 Work: PlayStation 4 Development Blog by Ryan111
Not long ago we reported on PlayStation 4 developer Specter starting a blog at SpecterDev.BlogSpot.ca, and now @ryan111 let us know in the PSXHAX Shoutbox that he also put one online located at PS4Work.BlogSpot.ca for PS4 developers to collaborate with.

So far there are only three blog posts, linked below:
The first entry appears to be a PS4 system volume key, and while those following the PS4 scene may recall awhile back vapour (aka xxmcvapourxx) revealed a passcode fingerprint key for the PS4 BD ROM there are already plenty of PlayStation 4 keys on the Wiki ranging from Activation to DRM.

PlayStation 4 developer @WhiteOverfl0w of the WhiteOverfl0w GIT projects asked if the information came from a USB dump, and @ryan111 confirmed it didn't so here's looking forward to further details.

Also for those who missed it (like myself :p) back in May of this year @B7U3 C50SS shared some PS4 *** Tool download links, which appear to have came from the PlayStation Dev Wiki HERE with mirrors HERE... below are the links in case they get removed by the Wiki owners:

ZiL0G80 Hints on PS4 IDU Mode / E3Mode, FreeBSD Exploits Phrack'd
Recently @IvarKarl started a PS4 MEMLAYOUT topic for PlayStation 4 developers to collaborate in, while ZiL0G80 hints on the existence of a PS4 E3Mode in addition to the known IDU Mode from his Tweets below.

In May of this year he Tweeted about a mini PS4 Debug Settings menu, and when asked if it's working on PS4 3.55 developer David Ackerman said probably but stated he is currently on PS4 1.76 Firmware so hasn't tested it above that version.

Also awhile back Phrack Magazine authored a piece from BSDaemon on hacking the Cell Broadband Engine Architecture using a PS3, and now argp and karl did an article on Exploiting UMA: FreeBSD kernel heap exploits (Download: phrack66.tar.gz), which according to @Warfareexpert is derived from CTurt's documented FreeBSD work with recent findings including a FreeBSD Kernel Exploit alongside a FreeBSD Compatibility Layers Weakness Analysis.

besides idu mode there is something called e3mode on p$4 :)
