For those following the progress updates here and on Facebook or Twitter, I'm pleased to announce that after many years my Fursan al-Aqsa: The Knights of the Al-Aqsa Mosque game is finally close to release on Steam and elsewhere... with an updated demo for PC, PS3, Steam and Xbox 360 alongside a new trailer video now available!
My game is now live on Steam, and since the demo is finished I don't see a reason for not releasing it so you all can enjoy this new demo and have a sneak peek of what awaits you on the full game, which is coming, finally, in December 2021.
This demo can be downloaded from itch.io, Game Jolt and IndieDB:
Nidal-Nijm-Games.Itch.io (access this link using the itch.io desktop app and click on install to install the Windows version)
GameJolt.com (the Windows version is a standalone installation)

IMPORTANT: FOR PS3/XBOX360 YOU MUST SET THE VIDEO RESOLUTION OUTPUT TO 480p 16:9 ON YOUR CONSOLES CONFIGURATIONS MENU (also set on your TV the image aspect ratio to 16:9) OTHERWISE THE GAME WILL CRASH!!!
Please download, play, leave a feedback and wishlist my game, as it helps me too much!

With the official release date just days away on September 10th, some who pre-ordered Tales of Arise for PS5 and PS4 have been able to pre-load the Japanese Role-Playing Game (JRPG) as Helencrownsjr reports when comparing downloads the PS5 Version is just 37.201 GB versus the PS4 Version weighing in at a hefty 57.247 GB in size.
While some reports attribute the 20 GB size difference to PlayStation 5's compression technology as outlined in Mark Cerny's Presentation, other reports claim the PS5 size is without a Day One Update 1.01 Patch... with additional comments indicating it's simply data deduplication of assets from PS4 package files in the PS5 version.
If anyone has further insight on this Tales of Arise PS5 PKG vs PS4 PKG Size Difference feel free to share in the comments below!
