PS5 Hacking-Themed Platformer Recompile Gameplay Trailer Video
Earlier this week we saw a first look at the PS5 hacking-themed indie platformer Recompile by Phigames, and below is a Recompile PlayStation 5 gameplay trailer video for sceners who can't wait to get their next-gen level hack on. Have a great Fourth of July 2020 everyone and stay safe!

Combining traditional exploration-based platforming mechanics with a dynamic narrative, Recompile challenges you to explore, fight, hack and survive.
There’s platforming, third person combat, and environmental hacking puzzles. With the many challenges and obstacles presented to the exploit, it’ll be up to you to decide how best to tackle them.
You could go in with all guns blazing, attracting attention from nearby security systems as you blast through enemies and bosses. Alternatively, you could take a more considered approach, hacking enemies to turn them against each other, whilst you wait around the corner for chaos to ensue.
The environment is also hackable, from something as simple as locked doors to more complex machinery – everything is built from logic gate circuitry which can at any time be overridden, inverted or completely disabled. Perhaps you might even decide to physically bypass these obstacles entirely, if you have spent the necessary time and resources to build up your traversal abilities.
The game's entire story takes place within one second, but inside the virtual world, time is perceived differently. As you explore The Mainframe, you’ll discover the reason for your existence, what you were programmed to do, and how your difficult choices will have consequences which ultimately affect the future of this world.

PS5 & Xbox Series X Next-Gen Video Game Prices to Go Up Says IDG
According to video game research firm IDG Consulting, publishers are likely to raise the price of next-gen games for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X following the PS5 News that NBA 2K21 will retail for $69.99 each on them compared to $59.99 for current-generation devices. 
Whether next-generation console games will justify the price hike compared to their present day console counterparts remains to be seen... according to Sony CEO Jim Ryan the upcoming PS5 hardware price will reflect value, so perhaps the same will apply to software as well.

"Even with the increase to $69.99 for next-gen, that price increase from 2005 to 2020 next-gen is only up 17%, far lower than the other comparisons. While the cost of development and publishing have gone up, and pricing in other entertainment verticals has also gone up substantially, next-gen software pricing has not reflected these increases.
$59.99 to $69.99 does not even cover these other cost increases completely, but does move it more in the proper direction. IDG works with all major game publishers, and our channel checks indicate that other publishers are also exploring moving their next-gen pricing up on certain franchises, for the same reasons outlined above.
Not every game should garner the $69.99 price point on next-gen, but flagship AAAs such as NBA 2K merit this pricing more than others."

Sony Introduces PlayStation Indies for PS5 and PS4 with Montage Video
Proceeding the Indie PS5 game Soulborn Alpha Trailer, Sony introduced their PlayStation Indies initiative featuring nine captivating new independent games including Worms Rumble (PS5 / PS4), Haven (PS5 / PS4), Carto (PS4), Recompile (PS5), Where the Heart Is (PS4), Maquette (PS5 / PS4), F.I.S.T: Forged in Shadow Torch (PS4), Heavenly Bodies (PS5 / PS4) and Creaks (PS4).

I was so excited to see the strong reactions to the amazing indie titles featured in the PS5 Future of Gaming event a few weeks ago. Do they not look charming and interesting? I, for one, could not get the Bugsnax song out of my head for a few days since the show went live.
While details are still forthcoming, we are also happy to confirm a new indie title will join the PlayStation Now service every month, starting with Hello Neighbor in July.

Long ago we saw the Original PS4 Jailbreak for 1.76 FW via BadIRET Exploitation (Github Articles), and following his recent FreeDVDBoot PS2 DVD Player Exploit PlayStation 4 developer @CTurt shared via Twitter thoughts on FreeDVDBoot for PS3 / PS4 after discovering his FreeDVDBoot PREBUILT ISOs (GIT / Blog) also crash the PS4 in a video demonstration from V3dita BR on YouTube... meaning it may be vulnerable to the same bug, although he favors Blu-ray BD-J Attacks due to ASLR in later Firmware versions.
