PSN Online ID Change Incoming for Testers, PS4 Rollout in 2019
Today Sony officially announced that their PSN Online ID Change feature is entering the PlayStation Preview Program soon for testers, followed by a full rollout for all PS4 users planned for early 2019. 
This change comes following an earlier PSN Name Change discovery by developer @Tustin who noted on Twitter the following:
"Found something interesting that might be hinting at PSN name changes. User profiles now return a numeric id called accountId, possibly indicating that Sony has finally switched to a proper primary key for users. This accountId replaced something called a npId: "accountId":"5607374635837594712""
Here's what Sony Social Media Director Sid Shuman had to say on the upcoming PSN Online ID Change, to quote:
We’re happy to announce that we will soon begin testing the long-awaited feature that will allow users to change their PlayStation Network Online ID from their PlayStation 4 system.
The PSN Online ID Change feature beta will be a part of the PlayStation Preview Program, and will become available to select users that have pre-registered as testers for previous PS4 system software betas.
During the preview program, you will be able to change your online ID as many times as you want. The first change is free, and changes after that will cost $9.99 USD / CAD. For PlayStation Plus members, it will cost $4.99 USD/ CAD after the first change. Changes to online ID can be made through the Settings menu or via the Profile page of your PS4.
When you change your online ID, you will have the option to display your previous ID with your new ID, so your friends can recognize you. Once you decide to display your old ID or not, you won’t be able to adjust this after completing the online ID change process.
This feature is compatible with PS4 games originally published after April 1, 2018, and a large majority of the most-played PS4 games that were released before this date. However, please note not all games and applications for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita systems are guaranteed to support the online ID change...

Sony Files Lawsuit Against Hacker Selling Jailbroken PS4 Consoles
Back before running commercial PS4 games as package (PKG) files on retail PlayStation 4 jailbroken consoles was a 'thing' in the scene, PS4 gamesharing and PS4 modchips surfaced which led to some Russian sites selling modified PS4 consoles that blatantly included packs of pre-loaded and activated games ready to play. 
Fast-forward to 2018... Sony appears to finally be catching on, as according to mainstream media outlets Engadget.com, Kotaku.com and TorrentFreak.com Sony Interactive Entertainment recently filed a copyright infringement / DMCA lawsuit (sonycomp.pdf / Scribd Embed) against California hacker Eric David Scales (aka Blackcloak13) for selling jailbroken PS4 consoles loaded with bootleg games on both eBay and his own Website.
Here's an excerpt from the TorrentFreak article on the news, to quote: “Defendant is an individual who has marketed, sold, and distributed ‘jailbroken’ PS4 consoles that: (a) contain ‘p!rated’ (unauthorized) copies of PS4-compatible video games, and (b) were produced and designed for purposes of, and/or were marketed by Defendant for use in, circumventing technological protection measures,” the complaint reads.
Sony ordered two devices online and found that they were indeed ‘as advertised.’ The PS4s were modified to run an unnamed exploit which effectively circumvents the technological protection...

PSJoy: PS4 Remote Play for PC and Android Devices by Grill2010
Last year I've worked on a workaround solution to provide Android users the possibility to use their smartphone as Dualshock gamepad or remote access tool for their PS4.
Only drawback is that you have to establish the connection over your Windows PC (at least Windows 8.1 is required) and the official PS4 Remote Play program and the PSJoy server must be installed on the system.
The solution is far away from ideal but if you have a stable Internet connection it should work without any problems. You can find below some demonstration videos

Btw, if delroth decides to finish his open source project I will definitely build an Android version. As he is currently working on other projects no one should put him under pressure as it is anyway his decisions if he wants to continue his work or not. But without his knowledge in reverse engineering I doubt anyone will be able to build an Android version soon.
