Summary

In this project you will find a full implementation of the "bpf" kernel exploit for the PlayStation 4 on 4.55. It will allow you to run arbitrary code as kernel, to allow jailbreaking and kernel-level modifications to the system. This release however, does not contain any code related to defeating anti-backups mechanisms or running homebrew. This exploit does include a loader that listens for payloads on port 9020 and will execute them upon receival.

This bug was discovered by qwertyoruiopz, and can be found hosted on his website here.

• Download Compiled Payload
• Edit Payload With [PLAIN]HXD[/PLAIN]
• Find & Change IP Address from 192.168.88.87 to Your PS4 IP 192.168.xxx.xxx
• Save Payload
• Send Payload Using Netcat

nc.exe -w 3 `PS4IP` 9020 < PS4FTP.bin

• Open Filezilla & Connect to PS4
• Profit $$

2. I'll update the DNS and RPi scripts after the release.

3. The DNS will start serving the 4.55 update upon release.

If you don't want to update to 4.55 make sure you are blocking updates. (Running XVortex-HEN will do this).

you got update blocker in ps4 most likely remove that and then update you can remove it via ftp using filezilla

if still got 4.05 go to www and launch vortexftp and then on your pc you can remove

Here's a really stupid questions, I'm not sure if everyone is familiar with NPS browser, but is there anything in the works for DLC content and PKG installation for the Ps4? I thought I had read something about that in a previous post but there was some sort of discrepancy on FW versions and stuff, something about modifying a specific line of code?
