Load HEN & Debug Settings Payload Using 4.55 Kernel Exploit without having to send payloads using NETCAT.

Summary

In this project you will find a full implementation of the "bpf" kernel exploit for the PlayStation 4 on 4.55. It will allow you to run arbitrary code as kernel, to allow jailbreaking and kernel-level modifications to the system. This release however, does not contain any code related to defeating anti-backups mechanisms or running homebrew. This exploit does include a loader that listens for payloads on port 9020 and will execute them upon receival.

This bug was discovered by qwertyoruiopz, and can be found hosted on his website here.

• Edit Payload With [PLAIN]HXD[/PLAIN]
• Find & Change IP Address from 192.168.88.87 to Your PS4 IP 192.168.xxx.xxx
• Save Payload
• Send Payload Using Netcat

nc.exe -w 3 `PS4IP` 9020 < PS4FTP.bin

• Open Filezilla & Connect to PS4

Can any buddy make a tut or Video for how to Firmware update from Jailbroken PS4 4.05 to 4.55 ?

also as mentioned that holy-grail has ability to load in boot-up ? so we don't need to send HEN + full debug settings every time when ps4 starts UP ? ?

No it doesn't load on boot-up, you have to reload it every time you power off your PS4, unless you use rest mode which I heard works on 4.55.

Indeed that is great news for rest mode, but waiting for permanent HEN on 4.55 (CFW) so that we can disable internet and rest.
any ways can explain how to upgrade ps4 4.05(Jb) to 4.55 ?

I guess but like I said didn't have to do either. No deleting via ftp or formatting. Your info is bad mine is good. Database just rebuilt and I was fine.

its never betther than 4.05 for all the feeling of 4.05 on my 4.55 dont working , everytime crash or not enaugh memory , is here a mistake what i do ???

@Leslie84 You can't go back. If it crashes just try again until it doesn't crash. Might take a few tries.

@Vkey download this: PS4UPDATE.pup

format a USB flash drive (use exFAT as the file system) and put the PS4UPDATE.PUP in PS4/UPDATE/ folder on the flash drive. Stick it into your PS4 and restart, it should ask if you want to update using the usb. You'll need to have your controller plugged via USB to select anything.

@Leslie84 You can use the DNS version (with a guide on how to use it here: https://github.com/Al-Azif/ps4-exploit-host). Launch it, then select Holy Grail, wait for it to display "You're all set" and you're good to go. If it throws an error, just retry as many times as you need - it can take a couple of tries to work.
