Load HEN & Debug Settings Payload Using 4.55 Kernel Exploit without having to send payloads using NETCAT.

Summary

In this project you will find a full implementation of the "bpf" kernel exploit for the PlayStation 4 on 4.55. It will allow you to run arbitrary code as kernel, to allow jailbreaking and kernel-level modifications to the system. This release however, does not contain any code related to defeating anti-backups mechanisms or running homebrew. This exploit does include a loader that listens for payloads on port 9020 and will execute them upon receival.

This bug was discovered by qwertyoruiopz, and can be found hosted on his website here.

• Download Compiled Payload
• Edit Payload With [PLAIN]HXD[/PLAIN]
• Find & Change IP Address from 192.168.88.87 to Your PS4 IP 192.168.xxx.xxx
• Save Payload
• Send Payload Using Netcat

nc.exe -w 3 `PS4IP` 9020 < PS4FTP.bin

• Open Filezilla & Connect to PS4
• Profit $$

the only thing im wondering is how do we manually send a payload without ps4 exploit host by azif isnt there something called netcat and please correct me if im wrong but i type my ip in the netcat app and and go to user guide or www on ps4 then hit send payload it will go from idle to ok if i remember right but i dont know i seem to getting an error everytime can someone explain pls

It would be awesome if dumper do auto lower the firmware requirement in ELF and PRX files, because 4.05 dumps works on higher fw but not vise versa

@Vkey Dude just find a random guide through search on how to update via USB. Like this one:

Don't have to do more than that. Maybe (just maybe) rebuild database in safe mode if games don't boot up.

well I decided to move from 4.05 to 4.55 on 1 of my consoles, my experience till now it's that it's less stable than the previous exploit, many memory free errors plus some crash/restart of the PS4. We can still run the old games that were installed.

Using online websites that host the exploit seem to throw more times the error of free memory.

The crashes happen when I used the PC to host the payloads.

Now it's time to start installing fpkg and check for results.
