DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor Incoming, PS Now Heading to PC
Today PSN VP Eric Lempel announced that a DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor is on the way alongside a PlayStation Now Windows PC version.

The PS Now application is launching across Europe soon and is expected to arrive in North America shortly following.

Below is the scoop on their upcoming DS4 USB Wireless Adaptor as well, to quote:

We’re also introducing a new device, the DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor, which launches in early September for a suggested retail price of $24.99 ($29.99 CAD).

This adaptor will let you connect a DualShock 4 to PC and Mac wirelessly, and will enable every feature of the controller you know and love: buttons, analog sticks, touch pad, light bar, motion sensors, vibration, and stereo headset jack – as long as the gaming application supports these features.

The adaptor is a great match for playing PS Now on a computer, but you can also use it for PS4 Remote Play on PC and Mac. If you haven’t yet downloaded Remote Play on your PC or Mac, grab the installer here. Of course, owning the USB Wireless Adaptor isn’t required, as you can connect a DualShock 4 using a USB cable.

Here are the recommended specs for running PS Now on your PC:
  • Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port
A minimum 5Mbps connection is required to use PS Now on any device. We recommend a wired Internet connection for the optimal experience.

We’ll be in touch to confirm the exact launch date of the PlayStation Now Windows PC app in North America, and stay tuned for some exciting games that will be added to the library.

PS4 4.0 Beta WebKit Crash Demo Video by NextGenModzPS4
A few months back we saw a PS4 3.50 Webkit Exploit followed by a PS4 3.50 Webkit Crash, and now PlayStation 4 developer NextGenModderPS4 shared a PS4 4.0 Beta WebKit crash demo video with details below! :D

From the video's caption / comments, to quote Hybrid7Theory: PS4 4.0 BETA WEBKIT CRASH

PS4 3.55 FileManager.jpgThe webkit crash works on 4.0 and the poc test succeeded somehow. Enjoy. Sony might take down the video so use a a video extractor to download the video.

Same as 3.55. Used it for a full day no problems then went back to 3.55. If you plan on using the WebKit playground or linux use ps proxy by red eye so you don't have to update and still go online.

Thanks to @B7U3 C50SS for the news in the Shoutbox and to @NextGenModzPS4 for the demo video!
PS Vita Package Installer Guide for Firmware 3.60 by xXDarkCodeXx
Following the PS Vita PKG Installer 2.0 and rumored PS Vita game decryption, PlayStation Vita developer [PLAIN]xXDarkCodeXx[/PLAIN] shared a Package Installer guide on Firmware 3.60 for those interested! (y)

To quote: The title says everything: we managed to get official pkg installer on a CEX vita. Not in IDU mode, so there is no risk to update or brick! Now I'm not a genius, everyone could do that. No one did, so I'm here to guide you.

First thing: credits

First I want to say "THANK YOU" to some people:
  • Silica - For giving me some infos and Ideas AND testing
  • PixelButts and The Dark Lord - for files (Dark Lord's files has been deleted)
  • Bajunan - For ideas
  • Team molecule - for HENkaku
  • TheFlow - for VitaShell
  • major_tom - for VitaRW
Explanation

As you know since 3.36 we canno longer open PKG Installer, as sony patched it, but the app is still there. Why? I think that PSVita still uses that for installing PKGs, in silent mode or something like that. Silica found that it is called FAKE package installer. So we thought that there would be a REAL pkg installer. Well, kind of. On DEX vitas the PKG installer is bigger than the CEX one, and the DEX one actually works! So we replaced the CEX pkg installer with the DEX one, and it works!

How to get it
  • Well, you need VitaRW (You can find it on internet) and HENkaku with vitashell. Then you need this file.
  • First open vitarw and when you read 0x000000 close it.
  • Open vitashell and press select. Connect via FTP to your vita from a pc. Browse to vs0:app and backup NPXS10031.
  • Then transfer NPXS10031(the downloaded file) to your app folder. If you already got the PKG Installer bubble you can already open and...
