Today we have a video tutorial from @DarkElementPL via Twitter on fake signing PlayStation 4 game libraries and packages (PKGs) for use with the recently released PS4HEN Homebrew ENabler on exploited PS4 4.05 consoles.

Did you edit the bin file header (line 020h: 40 00 00 00 00 ....)?

If you dump the files with ps4-ftp-vtx than you dont have to run the script!
The ps4-ftp-vtx payload decrypted the files on the fly!

you have a idea where this file is? I've searched my Gravity Rush disc and pfs folder and could't find it
or is it PSN only?

you can find this file in /system_data/priv/appmeta/CUSAXXXXX

Hello, me again.

I am wondering is there any other way to send .PKG to my PS4 rather then with USB or external HDD. I have USB that is not bigger than 8GB and I don't have external HDD.

Some sort of FTP transfer maybe? Any help?
Don't tell me I am forced to get external HDD

I know there is a way to FTP to the PS4 and send files but I'm not sure if you can install pkgs from the PS4 internal HDD.

Unless the ps4-ftp-vtx payload also fake-signs the libraries after decryption, you would still need to run the make_fself.py script in python.

is there a way to install/run ssh server on ps4? it would enable one to change fstab to mount a local directory or to create a symbolic link or something

if using windows make sure to install python. make sure the library files (eboot.bin) you are trying to fake_sign are in the same location (in same folder) as the make_fself.py script. Either open cmd prompt from the location/folder the files are stored or navigate to the correct path and run the script.

for example: create a New_folder on your Desktop

Put eboot.bin file and the script (make_fself.py) in the New_folder

in cmd prompt navigate to (C:\Users\your_user_name\Desktop\New_folder)

then in cmd type: make_fself.py eboot.bin eboot.bin
