Following the PS4Brew Full PS4 4.55 Jailbreak news earlier today, PlayStation 4 developer m0rph3us1987 has now released the PS4 4.55 Holy Grail ps4_455_holygrail.bin PS4HEN (PS4 Homebrew ENabler) payload with special thanks to flat_z which allows users to run PS4 Package (PKG) files of both backup games (as confirmed by @Donely, behnamzed, karloromeo, GrimDoe and Andrew Marques) and homebrew applications!

Download: ps4_455_holygrail.bin (68 KB) / ps4_455_holygrail.bin (Mirror) / usb_455_hen.zip (0.04 MB - USB Self-Host) via stooged / Enable_VR_455.zip / usb_455_vr_enable.zip (0.02 MB) / usb_455_vr_hen.zip / PS4 Linux Loader 4.55 / 4.55 Standalone RPi Installer / UART Enabler for 4.55 / 4.55 Kernel Dumper / 4.55 JKPatch / MiraHEN (Russian WIP) by The Sugarleaf

ps4_455_holygrail.bin MD5 Hash: 38F5E677A543EF93FB9A75096F983F89

Those seeking to update your PS4 to 4.55 Firmware now can do so following this guide using the 4.55 OFW Update PUP (MD5 Hash: 9c85ce3a255719d56f2aa07f4be22f02) from either HERE or HERE with PS4 Exploit Host v0.4.0RC1 and Payloads available including a SandBoxed FTP (Not Full) 455ftpvultra.bin via PS4_4.55_FTP on Github, a FULL ps4-ftp-vtx.bin (4.55 - GIT) by @XVortex, an XVortex Dumper for 4.55 (v1.7 Beta 1) ps4-dumper-vtx.bin payload and an 4.55 FTP / USB Dumper. :ninja:

In addition, several PS4 4.55 Playground / PS4HEN / PS4Xploit / Kernel Exploit Payload Loader ports have resulted which we'll add to the list below as we run across them:
To quote from the Github page's README.md via C0rpVultra: PS4 4.55 HEN & Debug Settings Payload Loader

Load HEN & Debug Settings Payload Using 4.55 Kernel Exploit without having to send payloads using NETCAT.

Summary

In this project you will find a full implementation of the "bpf" kernel exploit for the PlayStation 4 on 4.55. It will allow you to run arbitrary code as kernel, to allow jailbreaking and kernel-level modifications to the system. This release however, does not contain any code related to defeating anti-backups mechanisms or running homebrew. This exploit does include a loader that listens for payloads on port 9020 and will execute them upon receival.

This bug was discovered by qwertyoruiopz, and can be found hosted on his website here.

Features
  1. Payload Auto-Loaded Via Kernel Exploit
  2. PS4Hen & Full Debug Settings
  3. Automatic Refresh if Exploit fails. ( window.location.reload(1); }, 5000);)
  4. Coming Soon.
No Need to use Netcat.

Yeah it won't work. A spoofer was never enough to get higher games to work, even on PS3. A spoofer is only good to prevent accidental updates, that's it.

Also, games higher than 4.55 cannot be dumped because you would need to be able to run the game before you can dump it. So unless someone has a private jailbreak above 4.55 and is dumping games, no one can dump games higher than 4.55 yet.

Why old exploit? Not sure, to be honest, but with new one i have problems. Way too many "out of memory errors" (10-30 retries before loads), strange endless loading loops (without errors), or some js errors. As i'm told about these js errors, problem is in userland.js, but that's only info i have.

Also, al azif mentioned that js error means that there's problem with permissions, on my end (first i used al azif's pc host), but again, with no further info or solution.

But, as i get same behavior and errors no matter what hosting method i use (pc, android or al azif's dns) i believe that the problem is for some reason in exploit, not on me.

But without further information or some solution, for now android host with old exploit works with minimal problems (occasional out of memory, and sometime game can freeze when loading in game), and that is acceptable. For now, at least. I feel that 4.55 is far more unstable than 4.05, which worked great for me, so from my point of view i made mistake by upgrading to 4.55

@Koh23 - I have to agree with you on the part about upgrading. Yes no more random shutdowns but the freezing while loading and during gameplay is really annoying. 4.05 would shut the system down alot for me but I should have just dealt with it

Don't get me wrong I appreciate everything these guys do for the community, hmjust should have waited for more stability

i'm on 4.55 and it works fairly well for me......the odd time it takes 5 or 6 tries to get hen 1.4 up and running but usually 3 tries and its good to go.. I have not experienced any games stalling or freezing really. I have had the ps4 pro shut off once or twice once hen loaded but that was closer to when i first installed 4.55 doesn't really happen to me now

To be honest i play only one game for now, so maybe this freezing is game specific, freezes only on one part, it's re7 and sometimes freezes when try to save on recorder. But, if first save works, then you can play all day and saving with no problems. Also i noticed sometimes when run the game, loading is soooo slow, and then it will freeze on save. If loads fast, no freezing, so again, maybe it's just this game.

On 4.05 i didn't have much problems, maybe few kernel panics, i have a feeling that exploit runs much smoother than 4.55.

Maybe there will be some polishing of exploit, so we get more reliable system, will see...

C'mon exploit guys, if sony can push "improves system stability" updates almost on week basis, i'm sure you can polish this exploit to work without problems. ;) (of course this is a joke)
