PS4 Jailbreaking

Over the weekend we saw the MTX Key PS4 ModChip Installation Process, and today a Turkish YouTube user who goes by Yildiz PS3 PS4 Cafe shared some videos of the PS4 Game Installation Process when using an MTX Key with the PlayStation 4 console.

Beyond shops and resellers, some end-users are finally receiving their MTX Key ModChip (hopefully the MTX Key Gerber Files will surface soon), and while there is an English Install Manual and PS4 Game Transfer Tutorial many questions remain... so if you already have an MTX Key and can help answer some it would definitely be appreciated!

We've got a little surprise for people who have been patiently waiting to see what kind of progress has been made on the PS4 scene. A hacker by the name of @WhiteHex (YouTube Channel) has recently contacted me with some information and I have come here to help get the ball rolling.

There have been recent developments in the area of converting a retail version of a game into a full blown debug game. The game used was a Retail Version of Minecraft which was converted to a debug pkg and installed in the same way a game or demo from the PlayStation store would be.

Previously a method using the APP_Home, a similar method that was used on the PS3 was used to achieve this result on the PS4. This new method of converting allows for the game to be installed directly from the console so no computer is needed. A lot of work is happening but a lot of work still needs to be done.

Following the preliminary PS4 ModChip Hardware Analysis and MTX Key Reseller List, today wholesaler Westingames made available a brief video detailing where to solder the MATRiX Key Gamesharing Mod in the PlayStation 4 CUH-10XXA series (SAA-001), CUH-11XXA series (SAB-001), CUH-12XXA series (SAC-001), PS4 Slim CUH-20XXB series (SAD-001) and PS4 Pro CUH-70XXA series (NVA-001) models via the English Installation Manual.
