Running Steam on PS4 Linux Demo Video by OsirisX
While awaiting the PoC release of the PS4 3.50 Webkit Exploit from earlier today, PlayStation 4 developer @Osirisx shared a video demonstrating Steam on PS4 (ARCH) Linux using the PS4 Radeon Libs on 1.76 Firmware.

To quote from OsirisX: Haven't tried on Ubuntu but works fine with ARCH linux after compiling both 64 bit and 32 bit Radeon libs. I posted a video of me running Steam a while ago. Most games have stable FPS when running low to mid graphics setting.

Below is one more video by eXtreme demonstrating his PS4 UI Mod 0.05 Alpha:

Fail0verflow's PS4 Kexec to Load Linux on PlayStation 4 Follow-up
Following the recent PS4 BadIRET Kernel Exploit Source Code and PS4 Kexec Code to Load the Linux Kernel, below are some additional Linux PlayStation 4 details geared towards end-users from Wololo. To summarize:

If:
Then according to Fail0verflow you should be able to run Linux on your PS4.

But what does this mean for the average consumer? Well, with developers having access to the PS4 software via Linux, they can examine files hidden from the average user, and then decrypt the update system and find a whole to install homebrew via the XMB. This is a lengthy process however, and since 1.XX the firmware has got many new patches and is more secure as SCEA (Sony) predicted such actions.

However, don’t give your hopes up as the PS4 is capable of downgrading and some hackers are already looking at the hardware to accomplish this. There is no worry to update to any OFW, offered by SCEA to your PS4, just it will take longer to get CFW when you update.
