Adieu: PS4 Kernel Exploit for Firmware 4.05 by Fail0verflow Team!
Following their PS4 Kexec Offsets, Github Updates, CCC 2016 Presentation, PS4 Linux Demos, Postscript, PS4 / Liverpool AMDGPU Port, Gentoo Portage Patches/Packages and PS4 Pro Kernel Linux Support today PlayStation 4 developers from the Fail0verflow Team documented Adieu: a PS4 Kernel Exploit for Firmware up to and including 4.05 (patched in 4.06 OFW) which was discovered independently of the Chaitin Tech exploit. 
This public disclosure comes just days after news of Custom PS4 PKG Files on 4.55 and PS4 Kernel Code Exec on 5.00, and to quote from their official Fail0verflow.com Blog for PS4 developers: The First PS4 Kernel Exploit: Adieu

PS4 Kernel Code Exec Achieved by Qwertyoruiopz on 5.00 Firmware!
Following his recent PS4 5.00 OFW Kernel Bug & Webkit Exploit announcement, PlayStation 4 developer qwertyoruiopz has now confirmed he's achieved PS4 kernel code exec on PS4 System Software 5.00! 
To quote from Zer0xFF's comment on Twitter: "Assuming the new kexploit, That should help in finding a way to trigger the previous one as well, right?"
And qwertyoruiopz's response, to quote: "Indeed."

PS4 5.00 OFW Kernel Bug & Exploit Development by Qwertyoruiopz
Since reporting on the much welcomed news of PS4 homebrew on 4.55 OFW, today following his PS4 UART to DCSD Project updates PlayStation 4 developer qwertyoruiopz announced on Twitter that he discovered a kernel bug in the official PS4 Firmware 5.00 and while making Sony nervous is busy exploiting it naturally!

Today PlayStation 4 developer @flatz shared a demonstration video and interview with Imaginary Monster of the Russian PlayStation Hack community showcasing custom / repacked PS4 Package (PKG) files on a retail v4.55 console running The Last Guardian via kernel exploit!

FIFA 2015 PS4 Game Dump by Knights of the Fallen (KOTF)
After their FIFA 2014 release today PlayStation 4 scene group KOTF returns with their latest PS4 game dump of FIFA 2015 for 1.76 console owners keeping Umar's dream of running PS4 ELF Loader and Full Game Backups for free alive!
Of course for most without a 1.76 console using the current methods this dream is still just a fantasy, but when the time comes and these scene releases can be used on higher version firmware PS4 consoles then we'll all be able to laugh at GameStop trying to charge $4.99 for this old used game.
