PS4 UART to DCSD Project Pictures & Details by Qwertyoruiopz
It's been awhile since sharing his decrypted sl-config.xml.env, and following past PS4 UART updates and PS4 Hardware Pinouts today PlayStation 4 developer qwertyoruiopz posted some pictures of his latest PS4 UART to DCSD project on Twitter! :ninja:

From the related Tweets below, it appears he's using hardware and mapping techniques while working on dumping PlayStation 4 UART debug logs and may end up bruteforcing commands via the syscon UART as suggested by VVildCard777 in hopes to obtain more information on the PS4 system controller for developers.

Using DCSD as generic UART to USB. Easy to do without soldering by just sticking jumpers in the hot glue.

Not too shabby of a solder job. Here's to hoping the PS4 still boots!

And PS4 actually boots! Ayy

UART.

I see you have syscon uart connected there, planning on bruteforcing commands? had no luck with it yet myself, need to make a good go of it.

i have waaay more than 7 leftover lool. I just put in bare minimum to hold everything together more or less.

I just connected both because I don't really wanna open the PS4 again. But after looking into it it sounds interesting.

i kinda overheateded the board with the soldering iron tip on one point. maybe some trace could have gotten damaged. thankfully not

Knights of the Fallen (KOTF) Return with Wolfenstein: The New Order
PlayStation 4 scene release group Knights of the Fallen (KOTF) have returned with a working 1.76 game dump of Wolfenstein: The New Order (NFO) following their initial releases. :lovexf2:

Using the current PS4 Backup Game Methods those grabbing their latest release will be able to run it on a PS4 1.76 console, although based on our recent PSXHAX Poll there are a lot of users who have already updated beyond 1.76 and are waiting for a public PlayStation 4 jailbreak exploit for newer Firmware versions to enjoy all the fun. :sneakyxf2:

First PS4 Homebrew Demo Video on 1.76 Firmware by BigBoss!
Last weekend we saw a glimpse of PS4 homebrew in the form of a screenshot, and following his previous work today PlayStation 4 developer BigBoss shared a video clip stating "No comments :openedeyewink:" while briefly demonstrating it in action! :notworthyxf2:

To launch it on a jailbroken PS4 1.76 console he used the recently documented Playroom method, which is similar to what PS4 scene release group Knights of the Fallen (KOTF) also outline in their NFO files.

Below are some recent Tweets for those following along, including some new PS4 Keys added to the Dev Wiki as pointed out by @HydrogenNGU:
Thanks to @LightningMods for the heads-up in the PSXHAX Shoutbox tonight, here's to hoping a PS4 CFW and MultiMAN PS4 port follow suit as PlayStation 4 development progresses! :lovewins:
