PS4 Advanced WebKit Playground for 1.76 Redesign by 0x199
Recently Sony blocked the PS4 WebKit Playground on 1.76 consoles for those not using a proxy, and since the initial release through more recent revisions PlayStation 4 developers continue to adapt and update it with the latest being the PS4 Advanced WebKit Playground for 1.76 redesign from 0x199. :geekxf2:

Check it out here: PS4 Advanced WebKit Playground for 1.76 / ELF Loader

Among @0x199's other work is a PS4 Firmware Version Detection JS / PHP Script and more recently a PKG Merge compiled version of Tustin's original PS4 Tool.

Cheers to @raedoob and @X41 in the PSXHAX Shoutbox for the news tip! :bananaman13:
Sony Rumored to Be Blocking PS4 Playground From 1.76 Web Browsers
Following the version 1.01, 1.50b, 1.52 / 1.60 and 1.62 ports of the PS4 Playground and Sony's recent PS4 Firmware 4.74 update, today @HydrogenNGU announced on Twitter that Sony appears to be blocking e✘treme-Modding's PS4 Playground from 1.76 Firmware Web Browsers. :nolove:

He also reports that AzuraMenu located at AzuraMenu.com is not blocked as of yet, but whether Sony is on another rampage against PlayStation 4 homebrew developers remains to be seen. :eekxf2:

Below are some of the recent tweets, and if anyone here is still on 1.76 OFW who can also confirm this rumor that e✘treme-Modding's PS4 Playground is blocked let us know in the comments. :thumbsupxf2:

 It's confirmed to be working when using a proxy, with several links HERE for those interested.

Cheers to @B7U3 C50SS, @ombus and @twostepmic for passing word along in the PSXHAX Shoutbox!
PS4 Game Backups Revisited on PlayStation 4 v1.76 Retail Consoles
We covered this a few times already so it's not entirely new, but to recap briefly many may recall PS4 game backups ran on PS4 DevKit / TestKit consoles, the PS4 Retail / Debug Game Transfusion Guide, PFS Findings and more recently the PS4 Retail PKG to Debug PKG Conversion... now PlayStation 4 developer @zecoxao announced on Twitter that PS4 game backups on retail 1.76 consoles will soon be a thing that those outside of private groups can finally make use of!

Before getting too excited, he states in the tweets (below) that it's currently for Firmware 1.76 and below titles... and @SpecterDev also notes via Twitter that later PS4 Firmware incorporates additional protection checks in the kernel meaning it's probably wise not to hold your breath just yet waiting to play newer PS4 game backups until a more recent kernel exploit surfaces publicly. :oopsxf2:

Below are some related Tweets for those who still have a 1.76 PlayStation 4 console that hasn't been updated yet:
