Next week the PlayStation 4 gets some heavy hitters, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PS4 on October 24th, and both MediEvil and The Outer Worlds on October 25th.

Sony Rumored to Unveil PS5 at PlayStation Meeting on February 12, 2020
Yesterday we saw the first PS5 DevKit Prototype Images, and although Sony confirmed the PlayStation 5 will launch during the Holiday 2020 season they haven't announced an official PS5 unveiling date thus far. 
According to a topic by esTowj on 4Chan (now removed) who claims to have access to internal memos, Sony is rumored to unveil the retail PS5 console at a PlayStation Meeting scheduled for February 12, 2020.

Among the information received from a former senior marketing manager of Sony PlayStation, (with an email for the company's general marketing managers), there is also information regarding the planning of the next PlayStation Meeting 2020.
The final planning of the PlayStation Meeting 2020, and the details of the event with the company's marketing team and the general planning and organization of this event (which began during the first company meeting in June 2019), have not yet been completed.
However a date for this event has already been identified internally as a result of the last company meeting, and this has given way to start the initial preparations for the final details of the event, starting with the sending of numerous invitations to some of the biggest software houses, including Activision, Square Enix, Ubisoft, EA, etc.
The event is currently scheduled for 12 February 2020, and the presentation will aim to present the future of Sony PlayStation to the whole world, with the revelation of the company's new console, PlayStation 5.

Leaked PS5 Dev Kit Prototype Images Surface from ZONEofTECH
Following the PS5 Development Kit Design Patent and PlayStation 5 Development Kit 3D Renders, this weekend ZONEofTECH shared some leaked Sony PS5 Dev Kit Prototype Images on Twitter with a video below from their YouTube Channel. 
Personally I'm glad the retail PlayStation 5 console design will likely differ from the PS5 DevKit Prototype hardware... it simply doesn't look next-generation enough compared to some of the fan-made concept designs we've seen thus far:

Sony Confirms PS5 Will Support PlayStation Now, New Controller Patent
In a recent interview with Famitsu Magazine, Sony's Yasuhiro Osaki confirmed that PlayStation 5 will support their digital streaming and downloading video game subscription service PlayStation Now, and TechTastic.nl also discovered a patent utilizing similar technology to Google's Stadia to reduce latency while gaming online.
To quote from DualShockers.com on their PS5 News findings:
"Sony revealed that the streaming service PS Now will also be available on PS5. The info comes through an interview with Sony Interactive Entertainment network division's Yasuhiro Osaki. The interview is included in this week's Famitsu magazine.
Yasuhiro Osaki also spoke on upcoming changes regarding PS Now. Basically, more popular games will be added to PS Now every month, but the number of time-limited additions will also increase.
The interview also reveals how Sony has currently no plans to bring PS Now to smartphones."
And from the Network Connected Controller for Direct to Cloud Gaming Patent abstract, to quote:
"A controller device for user interactivity with a server of a cloud gaming system is provided, including the following: at least one input device that generates inputs for the server; wherein the controller device communicates directly to an access device for connection to a network that connects the controller device to the server without connecting to a client device; wherein the server receives and processes the inputs to render gameplay video that is transmitted over the network for rendering to a display device that is local to the controller device."

PS4 Patch Builder for Building Modded Update PKGs by MODDED WARFARE
Since his YouTube Issues PlayStation 4 homebrew developer @MODDEDWARFARE returns releasing on Twitter a PS4 Patch Builder application used for building modded Update Packages (PKGs) alongside a video tutorial on his YouTube Channel! 
He states the new PlayStation 4 Patch Builder tool makes it both quicker and easier to create / build modded update PKG files for PS4 games than the previous update package methods.
