Over the weekend PlayStation scene release group TRSi just announced they were seeking PS4 *** and decryption method testers, and today they hinted that fans should 'expect something big and exciting about to come soon' from Tristar & Red Sector Incorporated.

PS4 PUP Extractor by Red-EyeX32, 1.76 Modded Trophies by J0lama

A few years back Red-EyeX32 made available a PlayStation 4 PUP Extractor with Source Code (below), and since then j0lama also posted one (below too).. coincidence or clone?

This follows the PS4 PKG Unpacker by @RedEyeX32, PlayStation 4 PUP Extractor / PS4Unpacker by @xerpi / @Hykem, PS4Tools clones by @RetroA (aka @hishamage) and GIT mirrors from Keyaku. Bored yet?

Were is this hot mess going exactly? Hold your wad, we'll get there... but first let's revisit some PS4 XMB Mods from @Senaxx and PS4 App Database / UI Mods by e✘treme.

So... recently j0lama reached out on Twitter with what appears to be a PlayStation 4 XMB modification of multiMAN PS4 (clear as mud still?

) and an image showing what appears to be PS4 1.76 modded trophies.

The latter Tweet states the following:

So what's the dealio with these supposed PS4 1.76 modded trophies? More XMB edits, known mods but not interesting or is @j0lama on to something cool?! Share your feedback in the comments below!

PS4 Waker by DHLeong Wakes Your PlayStation 4 Over LAN via PS App

Wakey wakey time!!!

PlayStation 4 coder DHLeong has been developing PS4 Waker which kicks PS4 Wake by dsokoloski up a notch allowing users to now wake your PS4 console without a PS Vita over LAN (Local Area Network) via Sony's official PlayStation App.

TRSI Seeks PS4 *** & Decryption Method Testers, Scene EBOOT Dumps

Following the previous PS4 EPEEN release and today's PS VitaShell 1.3 / v1.31 updates, PlayStation scene group TRSi recently announced (NFO) they are looking for PS4 developers to test out their PlayStation 4 *** and decryption methods!

BigBoss: PlayStation Camera v2, PS VR USB Descriptor and Software

Following his PS4 Auxiliary Ports and PS4Eyecam / PS4 Camera Firmware Kernel Analysis, PlayStation 4 developer BigBoss recently acquired Sony's new PlayStation Camera version 2 that supports PS VR and shared details on compatibility, open-source PlayStation VR Software and the PlayStation VR USB Descriptor today.

Below are the related tweets, and of note he confirmed Sony's new PlayStation Camera is not compatible with PS4 Firmware 1.76 which PlayStation 4 hackers have exploited and requires new Firmware.

He's also quite excited about the morpheus_bridge open source software used in PlayStation VR (a Dev hint, perhaps?

), busted out a PS4 camera plug and play mod and is currently seeking access to a Beagle USB 3 Sniffer to get a valid USB Dump for reverse-engineering and further examination. Rock on!
