Playing Snake on a Christmas Tree with PS4 Controller by Jordy Moos
Here's what many would consider the epitome of Christmas PS4 homebrew spirit, playing Snake controlled with a PlayStation 4 controller directly on an X-Mas tree by JordyMoos... the blue glowing Christmas balls are the apples you need to collect and naturally if you hit yourself it's game over.

- WS2811 12mm LED modules
- Teensy 3.2 as the led controller
- Teensy OctoWS2811 as extension board
- Raspberry Pi 3B as the game computer
- Raspberry Pi Camera v1.3 as LED recorder
- 5.1V Raspberry Pi Power supply
- 5V DC power supply with enough amps to power the LEDs

Xbox 360 video game console had a number of widely known hacks for firmware of its optical disc drives. However, it was never the case with Blu-ray disc drives of Sony PlayStation video game consoles. In fact, up until recently there was no much information available on this subject publicly.
In this presentation, I would like to share my journey of delving deep into internals and security of Sony PlayStation Blu-ray disc drives. As games are distributed within optical media, those embedded devices were intended to contain the best security possible.
I will demonstrate a multiple hardware hacks and several software vulnerabilities that allowed to dump firmware and get code execution on multiple models of Sony PlayStation Blu-ray disc drives.
In this presentation, I will share the following:
1) I will provide in-depth analysis of vulnerabilities and their exploitation to achieve code execution on multiple models of Sony PlayStation Blu-ray disc drives
2) I will discuss problems that I’ve encountered while reverse engineering the firmware and how I solved (some of) them

Padawan PS4 Controller Arduino Sketches for D-O / R2D2 Droids by RedheadedStep
Proceeding the PS4ToPi, PyWakePS4onBT and JoystickUDP homebrew projects today redheadedstep shared some Padawan PlayStation 4 Controller Arduino Sketches adding support for PS4 controls to D-O / R2D2 droids.

Padawan PS4 is a set of Arduino Sketches that work to control different droids. Right now, it just has sketches for connecting to the PS4 Controller and controller D-O. D-O is 3D printed from plans from Mr Baddeley.
Setup
This sketch is pulled from the USB Host Shield project. It is a basic sketch that lets you verify that your controller is connected and all the joysticks and buttons are working.
Hardware
You will need the following hardware in your D-O:

From the README.md: Padawan PS4
Padawan PS4 is a set of Arduino Sketches that work to control different droids. Right now, it just has sketches for connecting to the PS4 Controller and controller D-O. D-O is 3D printed from plans from Mr Baddeley.
Setup
- Load the sketch onto your arduino
- Plug the Bluetooth USB into the USB Host Shield.
- Pair your PS4 controller to the bluetooth by holding down Share + PS Button. The light on the controller should blink rapidly as it is pairing, then go solid blue.
This sketch is pulled from the USB Host Shield project. It is a basic sketch that lets you verify that your controller is connected and all the joysticks and buttons are working.

- (2) FS5103R or FS5106R - Continuous Rotation Servos for the wheels
- (2) MG90S or SG90S - 180° Servos for the neck
